Emel ÖKTEN : Prof. Dr. Feyzi ÖNDER : Prof. Dr. Seval TOROS Konya, Karaman ve Nevşehir illerinin ekonomik önemde soğan ekilişlerine sahip yörelerinde yürütülen bu çalışma, faunistik ve taksonomik olmak üzere iki ana bölümde ele alınmıştır. 1985 ve 1987 yıllarında, özellikle ergin Tylenchida türlerinin bol bulunduğu yaz ayların da söz konusu illere gidilerek toprak ve soğan örnekleri alınmıştır. Bu örneklerden elde edilen ve preparatları yapılarak teşhise hazır hale getirilen bitki paraziti nematodlardan Tylenchida takımına ait türlerin ölçüm ve teşhisleri ile taksonomik karakterlerinin çizimleri yapılmıştır. Mevcut literatürden yararlanılarak Tylenchida takımının alt grupları ile çalışmada bulunan cins ve türlerinin tanımları ve tanı anahtarları hazırlanmıştır. Her tür için; tanımı ile birlikte sinonimleri, çalışma kapsamına giren illerdeki yayılışı ve literatürde kayıtlı yayılış ve habitatı verilmiştir.IV Bu çalışmanın sonucunda Tylenchida takımının Tylenchina alttakımmdan ve Tylenchoidea, Dolichodoroidea, Hoplolaimoidea üstfamilyalarından beş familya, se kiz alt familya, 12 cins' e bağlı 17 tür ile; Hexatylina alttakımmdan ve Anguinoidea üst familyasından Anguinidae familyasına bağlı Ditylenchus cinsinden iki tür olmak üzere toplam 19 tür saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, çalışmada bulunan Filenchus filiformis (BUTSCHLI), Discotylenchus âiscretus SIDDIQI, Psilenchus clavicaudatus (MICOLETZKI), Pratylenchus zeaeGRAHAM ve Ditylenchus obesus THORNE ve MALEK türlerinin Türkiye nematod faunası için yeni kayıtlar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada saptanan Helicotylenchus cinsine bağlı bireyler üzerinde yapılan taksonomik incelemeler sonu cunda; halen geçerli ve birbirine yakın iki tür olan Helicotylenchus digonicus PERRY ve Helicotylenchus cana densis WASEEM' in aslında aynı türü temsil ettiği ve H. canadensis ' in H. digonicus 'a sinonim yapılması gerektiği kanısına varılmıştır. Boleodorus (Boleodorus) thylactus THORNE, Bitylenchus goffarti (STURHAN), Pra tylenchus penetrans (COBB), Pratylenchus zeae GRAHAM ve Helicotylenchus digonicus PERRY türlerinde ise geniş bir kuyruk varyasyonu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma yapılan alanlardaki en yaygın türlerin; F. filiformis (BUTSCHLI), D. dipsaci (KÜH) ve H. digonicus PERRY olduğu görülmüştür, incelenen literatürde D. dipsaci (KÜH), Boleodorus (B.) thylactus THORNE, Bitylenchus dubius (BUTSCHLI) ve Bitylenchus goffarti (STURHAN) dışındaki diğer türlerin soğan kökleri çevre sinde bulunduğuna dair bir kayida rastlanmamıştır. Bu çalışmada ayrıca Duosulciinae altfamilyasın- dan ottolenchus cinsine bağlı bir yeni tür ile, Merliniinae altfamilyasından Amplimerlinius cinsine bağlı bir yeni tür olmak üzere toplam iki yeni tür tespit edilmiş olup, orijinal description'u bilahare yayınlanacaktır. V ABSTRACT PhD Thesis TAXONOMIC STUDY ON THE PLANT PARASITIC NEMATODE SPECIES OF THE ORDER TYLENCHIDA, POUND IN THE ONION (Allium cepa L.) GROWING AREAS OF KONYA, KARAMAN AND NEVŞEHİR PROVINCES Güler ÖZTÜRK Ankara University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Plant Protection Supervisor: Prof. Dr. M.Emel ÖKTEN 1990, Page: 214 Jury : Prof.Dr. M.Emel ÖKTEN : Prof.Dr. Feyzi ÖNDER : Prof.Dr. Seval TOROS This study, carried out in the most economic onion growing areas of Konya, Karaman, Nevşehir provinces was taken in hand in faunistic and taxonomic ways. In 1985 and 1987 soil and onion samples were collected from the mentioned provinces, especially in summer months when the adults of the Tylenchida species were found abundantly. Measurements, identifications and the drawings of the taxonomic characters were conducted from the species of the Tylenchida order, that were found among the collected samples and prepared for identification. The identifications and the keys of the genera and species found during the investigations and the subgroups of the order Tylenchida were prepared by using the available literature. Synonims, distribution in the provinces that were subject to the study and the distributions and the habitats mentioned in the literature were given together with the identifica tions of each species.VI At the end of this study, a total of 19 species, 17 of which belonging to 5 families, 8 subfamilies and 12 genera of the Tylenchina suborder and Tylenchoidea, Dolichodoridea and Hoplolaimoidea super fam i lies of the order Tylenchida; and 2 species of the Ditylenchus genus belonging to the Anguinidae family of the Anguinoidea super family of the suborder Hexatylina, were determined. On the other hand, the species Filenchus filiformis (BUTSCHLI), Discotylenchus discretus SIDDIQI, Psilenchus clavicauâatus (MICOLETZKI), Pratylenchus zeae GRAHAM and Ditylenchus obesus THORNE and MALEK were determined for the first time in the Nematode fauna of Turkey. At the end of the taxonomic inspections of the members of the determined Heiicotylenchus genus, it was concluded that two closely related species Heiicotylenchus digonicus PERRY, and Heiicotylenchus canadensis WASEEM were in fact representing the same species and cana densis must be thought as the synonim of h. digonicus. Also a wide tail variation was determined in Boleodorus (Boleodorus) thylactus THORNE, Bitylenchus goffarti (STURHAN), Pratylenchus penetrans (COBB), Pratylenchus zeae GRAHAM and Heiicotylenchus digonicus PERRY species. It was determined that f. filiformis (BUTSCHLI), D. dipsaci (KÜHN) and H. digonicus PERRY were the most widely distributed species of the investigated areas. It was not mentioned in any of the available literature that D. dipsaci (KÜHN), (Boleodorus (B.) thylactus THORNE, Bitylenchus dubius (BUTSCHLI) were found around the onion roots. Further more in this study, a new species of ottolenchus genus of Duosulciinae subfamily and a new species of Amplimerlinius genus of Merliniinae subfamily are found.
