Özet

Araştırma, askerlik ortamına ilk defa giren erbaş ve erlerin anksiyete düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Mayıs 2008 ve Ağustos 2008 tarihlerinde Eğitim Tabur Komutanlığı'nda 52 erbaş ve er örnekleme alınmıştır. Araştırmada yöntem olarak nicel araştırma yöntemi, desen olarak ise ilişkisel tarama deseni kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan, sosyo-demografik değişkenleri içeren kişisel bilgi formu, anksiyete düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla da Beck Anksiyete Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde yüzdelik hesaplaması, Tukey testi ve one way Anova yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; yaş, eğitim seviyesi, ikametgâh, aile geliri, şahsi gelir, kimlerle yaşamakta olduğu ve medeni durumun anskiyete düzeyini anlamlı olarak etkilediği saptanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda araştırmacı tarafından, erbaş ve erlerin anksiyete düzeylerinin azaltılmasına ve asker alma sisteminde yapılması gereken değişikliklere ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The research has been made as a complementary with the purpose of determining the anxiety level of the sergeants, corporals and privates who enter into the military. During May 2008 and August 2008, 52 sergeants, corporals and privates were sampled at the Training Battalion Command. As the information gathering device, the personal information form, which is prepared by the researcher and includes socio-demographic variables, and for the determination of the anxiety levels, Beck Anxiety Scale have been used. For the evaluation of the gathered information, percentage calculations, Tukey test and one way Anova methods have been used. According to the research results; It is determined that age, education level, residency, family income, personal income, with whom he is living, and marital status significantly effect the anxiety level. In line with the results obtained from the research, the researcher has made suggestions on the reduction of the anxiety level of sergeants, corporals and privates and the necessary changes in the recruitment system.
