Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı GeoGebra destekli öğretim ortamının öğrencilerin kesirler konusunda başarı ve matematiğe ilişkin tutumlarına etkisini incelemek ve öğrenci görüşlerini değerlendirmektir. Araştırmada hem nitel hem de nicel yaklaşımlar kullanılmıştır. Nicel kısımda; tek gruba uygulanan zayıf deneysel desenle başarıya ve tutuma ilişkin değişim tespit edilmiştir. Nitel kısımda ise öğrenci görüşleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında Kars il merkezindeki bir devlet ortaokulu altıncı sınıfta öğrenim gören 40 öğrenci oluşmaktadır. Uygulama yaklaşık 4 hafta boyunca haftada 5 ders saati olmak üzere GeoGebra desteğiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nicel verileri toplamada uygulamadan önce (ön-test) ve uygulamadan sonra (son-test) iki kez olmak üzere araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan başarı testi ve Matematiğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (Önal, 2013) kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları ile öğrencilerin görüşleri alınmıştır. Nicel veri analizinde t testi, nitel veri analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak çalışma grubunda uygulanan öğretim yönteminin öğrenci başarısını ve tutumunu artırmada etkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Ayrıca öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun GeoGebra ile konuyu daha iyi anlama ve dersin eğlenceli olmasını avantaj olarak gördükleri tespit edilmiştir. Çoğu öğrencinin dezavantaj belirtmediğini ve daha çok soru çözümünü öneri olarak sundukları belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of GeoGebra-supported teaching environment on students' success in fractions and attitudes towards mathematics and to evaluate students' opinions. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches were used in the study. In the quantitative part; changes in achievement and attitude were determined with the weak experimental design applied to a single group. In the qualitative part, student opinions were examined. The sample of the study consisted of 40 students studying in the sixth grade of a state secondary school in Kars city center in the 2023-2024 academic year. The application was carried out with GeoGebra support for approximately 4 weeks, 5 lesson hours per week. In collecting quantitative data, an achievement test prepared by the researcher and the Attitude Towards Mathematics Scale (Önal, 2013) were used twice before (pre-test) and after (post-test). In addition, students' opinions were obtained with semi-structured interview forms. T-test was used in quantitative data analysis, and content analysis was used in qualitative data analysis. As a result, it was found that the teaching method applied in the study group was effective in increasing student success and attitude. It was also determined that the majority of students saw the subject better understanding and the fun of the lesson as advantages with GeoGebra. It was determined that most students did not indicate any disadvantages and offered more question solutions as suggestions.
