Özet
Bu tez, tiyatro sanatında mahkûmiyet olgusunun temsilini Michel Foucault'nun iktidar kuramı çerçevesinde ele almayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, Henrik Ibsen'in Bir Bebek Evi: Nora, Athol Fugard'ın Ada ve Jean Genet'nin Hizmetçiler adlı oyunları seçilerek, her bir metin iktidar, gözetim, disiplin, özneleşme, panoptikon ve biyoiktidar gibi Foucaultcu kavramlar doğrultusunda analiz edilecektir.

This thesis aims to examine the representation of the concept of imprisonment in the art of theatre through the framework of Michel Foucault's theory of power. In this context, Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House, Athol Fugard's The Island, and Jean Genet's The Maids have been selected as primary texts. Each play will be analyzed through Foucauldian concepts such as power, surveillance, discipline, subjectivation, panopticon, and biopolitics.
