Özet
Bu araştırma, Benim Bedenim Benimdir Eğitim Programının 60-72 aylık çocukların problem çözme becerilerine etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma karma yöntem araştırmalarından iç içe gömülü desende yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunda ön test-son test-izleme testi kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen, nitel boyutunda ise durum çalışması tercih edilmiştir. Çalışma grubunu 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında Rize ilinde özel bir anaokuluna devam eden 60-72 aylık 20 çocuk (10 deney grubu-10 kontrol grubu) ve deney grubunda yer alan çocukların ebeveynleridir. Araştırma kapsamında Benim Bedenim Benimdir Eğitim Programı (BBBEP) hazırlanmıştır. BBBEP'te yer alan 24 etkinlik 12 hafta boyunca haftada iki gün deney grubundaki çocuklara uygulanmıştır. Deney grubundaki ailelerle hafta bir aile katılım etkinliği ve ayda bir aile eğitim semineri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kontrol grubuna herhangi bir müdahalede bulunulmamıştır. Nicel veriler Problem Çözme Becerileri Ölçeği (PÇBÖ); nitel veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen problem çözme rubriği, ebeveyn görüşme formu ve araştırmacı günlüğü ile elde edilmiştir. Nicel verilerin analizinde non-parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Nitel veriler içerik analizi tekniği ile incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel bulgularında BBBEP'nin deney grubu çocuklarının problem çözme becerileri üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu ve uygulanan programın etkisinin kalıcı olduğu saptanmıştır. Kontrol grubunda ilerleme görülmediği, hatta bazı alt boyutlarda gerileme olduğu bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın nitel bulgularında; ebeveynler programın çocuklarını olumlu etkilediğini, çocuklara beden güvenliği ve mahremiyet bilinci kazandırmada etkili olduğunu ifade etmiştir. Araştırmacı günlükleri ve problem çözme rubriği, BBBEP ile çocukların problem çözme becerilerinin ve mahremiyet bilincinin desteklendiği göstermektedir. Araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda, BBBEP'nin 60-72 aylık çocuklarının problem çözme becerilerini desteklemede etkili bir program olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study aimed to examine the effects of the My Body Belongs to Me Education Program (MYBMEP) on the problem-solving skills of children aged 60–72 months. A concurrent embedded mixed-methods design was employed. The quantitative part used a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest-follow-up control group design, while the qualitative part adopted a Phenomenological design. The study group consisted of 20 children (10 experimental, 10 control) attending a private preschool in Rize, Türkiye during the 2022–2023 academic year, and the parents of children in the experimental group. Within the scope of the research, My Body is Belongs to Me Education Programme was prepared. The 24 activities in the MBMMEP were applied to the children in the experimental group two days a week for 12 weeks. With the families in the experimental group, family participation activities were carried out once a week and family education seminars were held once a month. No intervention was made to the control group. Quantitative data were collected using the Problem Solving Skills Scale. Qualitative data were obtained through researcher journals, a problem-solving rubric developed by the researcher, and parent interview forms. Due to non-normal distribution, non-parametric tests were used for quantitative data analysis. Content analysis was applied to qualitative data. In the quantitative findings of the study, it was found that the BBBEP had a significant effect on the problem solving skills of the children in the experimental group and that the effect of the programme was permanent. It was found that there was no progress in the control group and even regression in some sub-dimensions. In the qualitative findings of the study, parents stated that the programme had a positive effect on their children and was effective in helping children gain body safety and privacy awareness. Researcher diaries and problem solving rubric show that BBBEP supports children's problem solving skills and privacy awareness. In line with the research findings, it was concluded that the BBBEP is an effective programme in supporting the problem solving skills of 60-72 month old children.
