Özet

Amaç: Örgütler kapsamında motivasyon olgusunu etkileyen birçok unsur bulunmaktadır ve motivasyon örgütlerin başarısında hayati bir öneme sahiptir. Bu nedenle liderlerin söz konusu durumun bilincinde olarak bu doğrultuda bir liderlik tutumu benimsemeleri gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında öğretimsel liderlik ve etkili okul arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi ve bu bağlamda söz konusu ilişki içerisinde öğretmen motivasyonunun aracılık rolünün etkilerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Çalışmada nicel araştırma tekniklerinden ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Yapılan analizler sonucunda cinsiyete göre öğretimsel liderlik, okul etkililiği, öğretmen motivasyonu boyutlarında anlamlı bir farklılık oluşmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Eğitim durumuna göre motivasyon boyutunda anlamlı bir farklılık oluştuğu saptanmıştır. Branş değişkenine göre öğretimsel liderlik, okul etkililiği, öğretmen motivasyonu boyutlarında anlamlı bir farklılık oluşmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Kıdeme göre öğretimsel liderlik boyutunda anlamlı bir farklılık oluştuğu bulunmuştur. Öğretimsel liderlik ile okul etkililiği ve öğretmen motivasyonu toplam puanları arasında, okul etkililiği ile öğretmen motivasyonu arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre öğretimsel liderlik ile okul etkililiği arasındaki ilişkide öğretmen motivasyonunun aracı rolü olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuçlar: Okulun başarıya ulaşması için öğretim liderliği ve okulun tüm paydaşlarının motivasyonunun yüksek olması gerekmektedir. Aynı zamanda öğretmenlerin motivasyon düzeylerinin okulların öğretim liderliği tutumlarını benimsemeleri ve uygulamaları ve etkili okul düzeyine ulaşmaları üzerindeki etkisi oldukça yüksektir.

Purpose: There are many factors that affect the phenomenon of motivation within organizations, and motivation has a vital importance for the success of organizations. Therefore, it is essential for leaders to be aware of this situation and to adopt a leadership attitude in this direction. Within the scope of this study, it is aimed to examine the relationship between instructional leadership and effective schools and, in this context, to evaluate the mediating role of teacher motivation in this relationship. Method: The study employed the relational survey method, one of the quantitative research techniques. Findings: As a result of the analysis, it was determined that there was no significant difference in the dimensions of instructional leadership, school effectiveness, and teacher motivation according to gender. It was determined that there was a significant difference in the motivation dimension according to educational status. It was determined that there was no significant difference in the dimensions of instructional leadership, school effectiveness, and teacher motivation according to the branch variable. It was found that there was a significant difference in the dimension of instructional leadership according to seniority. It was determined that there was a positive and significant relationship between the total scores of instructional leadership and school effectiveness and teacher motivation, and between school effectiveness and teacher motivation. The research results show that teacher motivation has a mediating role in the relationship between instructional leadership and school effectiveness. Conclusions: In order for the school to achieve success, instructional leadership and all stakeholders of the school should have high motivation. At the same time, the effect of teachers' motivation levels on the adoption and implementation of instructional leadership attitudes of schools and their reaching the level of effective schools is quite high.
