Özet
İsmet Özel, fikirlerini hem düz yazı hem de şiirle beraber yansıtması sebebiyle Türk düşünce hayatında merak ve takip edilen bir kişi olmuştur. Siyasi ve sosyal konulara dair fikirlerini açıkça paylaşmış olan Özel hakkındaki ''Din, toplum ve ideoloji karşısında İsmet Özel'' başlıklı bu çalışmanın temel problemi, İsmet Özel'in din, toplum ve ideoloji kavramlarını kendi dünyasında nasıl değerlendirdiğidir. Özel'deki bu kavramların detaylı anlaşılabilmesi için, hem yaşadığı dönemdeki siyasi ve sosyal gelişmelere hem de bu süreçte oluşan düşünce yapısının temellerinin örneklerine yer verilmiştir. Düşüncelerinde yer vermiş olduğu din konusunda İslam'ı, Müslümanların hayatlarına dair fikirlerini, öteki dinler hakkındaki görüşlerini incelemek ve toplumla ideolojik kavramlar konusundaki yaklaşımlarıyla Türklüğe yüklediği anlamı bilimsel bir yöntemle araştırmak merkezi öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi kullanılan bu çalışma, İsmet Özel'in din, toplum ve ideolojik kavramlara karşı bütünsel bir açıdan yaklaştığını ortaya koymaktadır. ''Ben ve öteki'' üzerinden konunun başlıkları değişiyor olsa da Özel'in ilk günden bu yana kendi bakış açısından sapmadığını göstermektedir. Araştırma sonuç itibariyle, Özel'in İslam'a teslimiyet esaslı bir yaklaşıma sahip olduğunu, Hz. Muhammed'in Müslüman kimliğinde merkezi bir yere sahip olduğunu, Müslümanların birey olarak değil cemaat olarak var olması gerektiğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca Özel'in diğer dinleri reddetmektense o dinlerin varlığına dair farkındalığın önemli olduğunu vurguladığı görülmüştür. Toplum konusunda ise Özel'in kültür ve medeniyet kavramlarına İslam kültürü ve Batı medeniyeti ekseninde yaklaştığını, yurt ve vatan sözcüklerinde milletlerin öncelikle vatanlarına sahip çıkması gerektiğini ve bunu dillerini koruyarak sağlayabileceklerini, kendisindeki Türklük teriminin Müslüman demekten farksız olduğunu, özgürlüğün öneminin kişinin kendisi olmaktan geçtiğini göstermektedir. İdeolojik kavramlar olan Batı kelimesine öteki olarak yaklaştığını, Batı'nın ürettiği modernleşme ve yabancılaşma kelimelerinin bir illüzyondan ibaret olduğu beyanını, kapitalizm veya sosyalizm gibi siyasi ideolojilerin Batı'nın dünyayı oyalamak üzere üretmiş olduğu fikirler olduğunu, bilim ve teknoloji konularında Müslümanların ötekine aczini değil, kendindeki gücün farkında olması fikirlerine ulaşmaktayız. Son olarak Özel'in fikir beyan etmiş olduğu tüm kavramlara eleştirel, teslimkâr, samimi, sahici ve radikal bir zihin yapısıyla yaklaştığının sonucuna varmaktayız.

İsmet Özel has become a person of curiosity and follow in Turkish intellectual life because he reflects his ideas in both prose and poetry. The main problem of this study titled“İsmet Özel in the Against of Religion, Society and Ideology”about Özel, who has openly shared his ideas on political and social issues, is how İsmet Özel evaluates the concepts of religion, society and ideology in his own world. In order to understand these concepts in Özel in detail, examples of both the political and social developments of the period in which he lived and the foundations of the structure of thought that emerged during this period are included. It is of central importance to examine Islam, his ideas about the lives of Muslims, his views on other religions, and to investigate, with a scientific method, the meaning he attributed to Turkishness through his approaches to society and ideological concepts, regarding the religion he included in his thoughts. Qualitative research methods were used in this study. This study, which uses descriptive analysis and content analysis, reveals that İsmet Özel approaches religion, society and ideological concepts from a holistic perspective. Even though the topics of the subject change based on“I and the other”, it shows that Özel has not deviated from his own perspective since the first day. The research ultimately demonstrates that Özel embraces a submission-based approach to Islam, that Prophet Muhammad holds a central place in Muslim identity, and that Muslims should exist as a community, not as individuals. Furthermore, Özel emphasized the importance of awareness of the existence of other religions rather than rejecting them. On the subject of society, Özel shows that he approaches the concepts of culture and civilization on the axis of Islamic culture and Western civilization, that nations must first protect their homeland and that they can do this by protecting their language in the words homeland and country, that the term Turkishness in him is no different than saying Muslim, and that the importance of freedom lies in being oneself. We reach the idea that he approaches the ideological concept of the West as the other, that the words modernization and alienation produced by the West are nothing more than illusions, that political ideologies such as capitalism and socialism are ideas produced by the West to distract the world, and that Muslims should not be helpless against the other in matters of science and technology, but should be aware of their own power. Finally, we conclude that Özel approaches all the concepts on which he has expressed his opinions with a critical, submissive, sincere, genuine and radical mindset.
