Özet
Türk kültür tarihinin yazılı ilk dört eseri olan Kutadgu Bilig, Dîvânu Lugâti't-Türk, Atabetü'l Hakâyık ve Dîvân-ı Hikmet gerek ülkemizde ve gerekse dünyada dil, edebiyat, siyaset, kültür, tasavvuf gibi alanlarda çok sayıda araştırmaya konu edilirken sosyoloji, psikoloji, eğitim gibi alanlarda nispeten daha az ilgi görmüştür. Oysa bu eserlerin sahip olduğu içerik özellikle psikolojinin yeni alt disiplinlerinden olan pozitif psikolojisi alanının temel problemleriyle büyük oranda benzerdir. İşte bu gerçeklikten hareketle bu tezde ilk dört Türk İslam eserini pozitif psikoloji perspektifinden incelemek amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada ilgili eserlere doküman incelemesi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın öne çıkan bazı sonuçları şöyledir; aşkınlık yaşamın temel anlam kaynağıdır. Bilgelik ise diğer erdemlerle aşkınlık arasındaki ilişkiyi kuran temel aracı değişkendir. Bireysel refah kadar toplumsal refah mutluluk üzerinde etkilidir. Diğerleriyle, doğayla ilişki pozitif ilişki mutluğu artırır. Pozitif duygular kadar negatif duygular insan hayatında önemlidir ve mutlulukla bağlantılıdır. Eserlerde mutlulukla ilişkilendirilen zengin bulgular Türk İslam toplumu için uygun bir mutluluk modelinin geliştirilmesinde önemli bir temel oluşturma potansiyli taşımaktadır.

Qutadgʻu bilig, "Dìvānu Luġāti 't-turk, Atebetü'l-hakāyık and Dìvānu ḥikmat, which are the first written examples of Turkish cultural history, are the subject of many studies both in our country and in the world. While these books have been the subject of research in fields such as language, literature, politics, culture and mysticism, they have received relatively less attention in fields such as sociology, psychology and education. However, the content of these books is very similar to the main problems of the field of positive psychology, which is one of the new sub-disciplines of psychology. In this thesis, it is aimed to examine the first Turkish-Islamic works from the perspective of positive psychology. In the research, document analysis was applied to the aforementioned books. Some of the important results of the research are as follows; transcendence is the main source of meaning in life. Wisdom is the main mediator variable that establishes the relationship between other virtues and transcendence. Social welfare and individual welfare are important components of happiness. A positive relationship with others and with nature increases happiness. Negative emotions as well as positive emotions are important in human life and are linked to happiness. The rich findings have important basis for the development of an appropriate happiness model for the Turkish-Islamic society. These rich findings have the potential to form an important basis for the development of an appropriate model of happiness for the Turkish-Islamic society.
