Özet

Articulatio coxae, acetabulum facies lunata'sı ve caput femoris arasında yer alan çok güçlü bir spheroid eklemdir. Bu eklemin çevresi kuvvetli kaslarla ve fibröz bir yapı ile kaplıdır. Articulatio coxae, kas iskelet sisteminin statik ve dinamik fizyolojisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir, yük taşıma ve mobilizasyondan sorumludur. Bölgenin anatomik ve radyolojik değerlendirilmesi cerrahi operasyonların planlamasının yapılmasında son derece önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sağlıklı bireylerde proksimal femur ve acetabulum yapılarına ait morfometrinin değerlendirilmesidir. Bu çalışmada, Adana Yüreğir Devlet Hastanesi'ne 2022 yılında çeşitli nedenlerle başvuran 18-50 yaş arasındaki sağlıklı bireylerin abdominal ve pelvik bölge bilgisayarlı tomografi (BT) görüntüleri retrospektif olarak incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme sonucunda kendi toplumumuzdan elde edilen acetabulum ve caput femoris ile ilgili morfometrik ölçümlerin articulatio coxae'yı içeren ortopedik cerrahi işlemlere yol göstermesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu değerlendirmelerin sonuçlarının kalça artroplastisi, kalça displazi, kalça kırıkları gibi os femoris ve acetabulum'u içeren cerrahi işlemlerde oluşabilecek komplikasyonların önlenmesinde faydalı olacağını ve elde edilen verilerin ülkemiz kaynaklı çalışmalara fayda sağlayacağını düşünüyoruz.

Articulatio coxae is a very strong spheroid joint located between the facies lunata of the acetabulum and the caput femoris. This joint is surrounded by strong muscles and a fibrous structure. The articulatio coxae has an important role in the static and dynamic physiology of the musculoskeletal system and is responsible for load bearing and mobilization. Anatomical and radiologic evaluation of the region is extremely important in planning surgical operations. The aim of this study is to evaluate the morphometry of the proximal femur and acetabulum structures in healthy individuals. In this study, abdominal and pelvic computed tomography (CT) images of individuals aged 18-50 years who were admitted to Adana Yüreğir State Hospital in 2022 for various reasons were retrospectively analyzed. The morphometric measurements of the acetabulum and caput femoris obtained from our population are intended to guide orthopedic surgical procedures involving the articulatio coxae. We think that the results of these evaluations will be useful in preventing complications that may occur in surgical procedures involving the os femoris and acetabulum, such as hip arthroplasty, hip dysplasia, hip fractures and that the data obtained will benefit studies originating from our country.
