Özet
12. yüzyıl Fransa'sında ortaya çıkan ve Katolik Kilisesi karşıtı bir akım olan Valdoculuk, Hıristiyan tarihinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Protestan reformundan yüzyıllar önce Kutsal Kitap'ı yerel dile çeviren ve aynı şekilde Kutsal Kitap'ı yegâne otorite kaynağı olarak gören Valdocular, Protestan reformuna zemin hazırlamışlardır. Pierre Valdo ile ortaya çıkan Valdocu akımı, halka açık vaazlar ile başlamış, zaman içerisinde sistematik bir akım haline gelmiştir. Katolik Kilisesi'nden bağımsız bir şekilde vaaz veren Valdocular, Kilise tarafından aforoz edilmiş ve zulme uğramıştır. Zulümlerden kaçmak ve hayatta kalmak için tüm Avrupa'ya yayılmışlardır. Daha sonra Protestan reformunu benimseyen Valdocular günümüzde varlıklarına devam ettirmişlerdir. Giriş, üç bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşan araştırmamızda birinci bölümde Valdocuların ortaya çıktığı dönemin genel özelliklerine yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Valdocuların ortaya çıkışı ve tarihsel süreci ele alınmış, üçüncü bölümde ise Valdocu akımın cemaat organizasyonu ve ayinleri incelenmiştir. Sonuçta tüm bölümlerin analizi genel bir değerlendirme yapılarak sonlandırılmıştır.

Originating in 12th century France, Waldensian Movement, an anti-Catholic Church movement, has an important place in Christian history. Centuries before the Protestant Reformation, the Waldenses, who translated the Bible into the vernacular and regarded the Bible as the sole source of authority, prepared the ground for the Protestant Reformation. The Waldensian Movement, which emerged with Pierre Valdo, started with public sermons and became a systematic movement over time. Preaching independently of the Catholic Church, the Waldenses were excommunicated and persecuted by the Church. They spread all over Europe to escape persecution and survive. Later, they adopted the Protestant Reformation and continue to exist today. In our study, which consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion, the general characteristics of the period in which the Waldenses emerged are given in the first chapter. In the second part, the emergence and historical process of the Waldenses is discussed, and in the third part, the congregational organization and rituals of the Waldensian Movement are examined. In the conclusion part, the analysis of all chapters is concluded with a general evaluation.
