Özet
İç Anadolu, Karadeniz ve Marmara bölgelerini birbirine bağlayan Bolu, tarihin her döneminde önemini korumuştur. Özellikle Osmanlı döneminde fetihten sonra imar faaliyetleri artmış il, ilçe ve köylerde eserler yapılmıştır. İmar faaliyetleri hanedan üyelerinden Yıldırım Bayezid ve II. Abdülhamid dönemleriyle sınırlı kaldığı için eserler daha çok yerel halk tarafından yapılmıştır. Bu nedenle yapıların büyük bir kısmı bölgesel özellikler gösterir.“Bolu İlinde Türk Devri”adlı çalışma, 19. Yüzyılın sonlarına kadar Bolu'da Türk döneminde inşa edilen tarihi yapıları kapsamaktadır. Çalışmada; 44 cami, 2 mescid, 14 türbe, 12 hamam, 6 han, 2 arasta, 4 köprü, 2 saat kulesi, 2 hükümet konağı ve 2 çamaşırhane olmak üzere 90 yapı incelenmiştir. Bu örnekler arasında en eski tarihli yapı 1231, en geç ise 1899 'dur. Yapılar; tarihsel süreç içerisinde deprem, yangın, sel vb. doğal afetlerin yanısıra yanlış onarımlar ve uzun süre bakımsız kaldığından birçoğu yıkılmış ya da ilk halinden farklı bir mimariyle günümüze ulaşmıştır. Çalışmada incelenen yapıların büyük bir kısmının üzerinde kitabe yoktur. Kitabesi olmayan yapılarda eski bilgi, belge ve fotoğraflardan faydalanılmıştır. Bilgi ve belgeye ulaşılamadığı durumda Bolu ve çevresinde tarihi bilinen ya da dönemin özelliğini gösteren benzer plan, mimari ve süsleme özelliklerine bakılarak tarihlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Bolu, which connects the Central Anatolia, Black Sea, and Marmara regions, has maintained its importance throughout history. Especially during the Ottoman period, after the conquest, construction activities increased, and works were built in the province, districts, and villages. Since construction activities were limited to the reigns of dynastic members Yıldırım Bayezid and Abdülhamid II, most of the works were built by the local people. For this reason, a large part of the structures display regional characteristics. The study titled“The Turkish Period in Bolu Province”covers the historical structures built in Bolu during the Turkish period up to the end of the 19th century. The study examines 90 structures, including 44 mosques, 2 small mosques, 14 tombs, 12 bathhouses, 6 inns, 2 covered markets, 4 bridges, 2 clock towers, 2 government buildings, and 2 laundries. Among these examples, the oldest structure dates back to 1231, and the most recent to 1899. Due to natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and floods, as well as improper repairs and long periods of neglect, many of the structures have been destroyed or have reached the present day with a different architectural style than their original form. The majority of the structures examined in the study do not have inscriptions. For structures without inscriptions, old information, documents, and photographs were used. When information and documents could not be accessed, attempts were made to date the structures by looking at similar plans, architectural features, and decorative features known to be historical in Bolu and its surroundings or indicative of the period.
