Özet
Çocuk ve çocukluk geçmişten günümüze değişen, toplumdan topluma ve dönemden döneme farklı algılanan ve tanımlanan kavramlardır. Toplumların çocuğa bakış açısı, çocuğa karşı tutum ve davranışları belirleyen önemli bir faktördür. Geçmişte ve günümüzde çocuğa ve çocukluğa verilen anlamlar, tutum ve davranışları etkilemektedir. Çocuğa yönelik kötü muamele, istismar olarak değerlendirilmekte olup, bu sorun yüzyıllardır süregelmektedir. İstismar ve ihmal bazı toplumlarda gizlenirken, bazı toplumlarda normalleştirilmektedir. Bu durum hem geçmişte hem de günümüzde görülen toplumsal bir sorun olarak varlık göstermektedir. Bu tür toplumsal sorunlar dönemin edebi yazarları tarafından kurgusal üslupla ele alınarak, topluma yansıtılmak ve aktarılmak istenmiştir. Bu bağlamda edebi eserler toplumsal hayatın içinden olay ve durumları bizlere sunmaktadır. Edebi eserler tam anlamıyla gerçek olmayıp, aynı zamanda toplumsal gerçekliği yansıtan kaynaklardır. Edebiyat toplumsal sorunları ele alıp, bir olay örgüsü içinde topluma sunmak ve farkındalık oluşturmak bağlamında önemli bir alandır. Bu bakımdan edebiyat geçmişte ve günümüzde yaşanmış ve yaşanması muhtemel toplumsal sorunları işleyerek yine toplumun kendisine sunmakta ve belirli bir sorun üzerinde farkındalık oluşturabilmektedir. Bu bağlamda tez çalışmasında çocuk ve edebiyat sosyolojisi çerçevesinde Türk edebiyatı yazarlarından Kemalettin Tuğcu'nun eserleri çocuk istismar ve ihmali bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılarak, örnekleme alınan kitaplar üzerinden istismar ve ihmalin sosyolojik analizi yapılmıştır.

Child and childhood are concepts that have changed from the past to the present, and are perceived and defined differently from society to society and from are to are. Societies perpective on children is an important factor that deternimies attitudes and behaviors toward children. The meanings given to children and chilhood in the past and today affect attitudes and behaviors. Child maltreatment is considered abuse, and this problem has been going on for centuries. While abuse and neglect are normalized in others. This situation exists as a social problem seen both in the past and today. Such social problems were addressed in a fictional style by the literary writers of the period and were intended to be reflected and conveyed to the society. İn this context literary works present us events and situations from social life. Literary works are not entirely real, but they are also sources that reflect social reality. Literature is an impartant field in the context of dealing with social problems, presenting them to the sociaty within plot and raising awareness. İn the respest literature deals with social problems that have occurred in the past and present and are likely to ocur and present them to the society itself and can raise awareness on a particular problem. İn this context child abuse and neglect were discussed in the thesis within the framework of child sociology and literature. İn this contexs, the thesis examines the works author Kemalettin Tuğcu within the fromework of child and literature sociology, focusing on child abuse and neglect. This stuy utilized document analysis, a qualitative research method, to conduct a sociological neglect through the sampled books
