Özet
Karaman ilindeki öğrenim gören üniversite öğrencilerinin üniversite memnuniyet düzeylerini çok boyutlu olarak incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilen araştırma kapsamında öğrenci dostu kent ile ilgili kavramsal bilgilere yer verilmektedir. Bu bağlamda kent, kentlilik bilinci ve kent kültürü kavramlarına odaklanılarak kent modelleri irdelenmekte ve öğrenci dostu kentlerin özellikleri ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmada yükseköğretim kavramı incelenerek, Dünya'dan ve Türkiye'den öğrenci dostu kent örnekleri ve bu öğrenci dostu kentlerle ilgili araştırmalar değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmaktadır. Karaman ilinde öğrenim gören üniversite öğrencilerinin üniversiteden memnuniyetlerini belirlemeye yönelik gerçekleştirilen alan araştırması sonuçları ve elde edilen bulgulara yönelik analizler ortaya konulmaktadır. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden anket tekniğinden yararlanılan ve kesitsel tarama deseninde kurgulanan çalışmada veriler, Mart-Nisan 2024 tarihleri arasında hem yüzyüze hem de çevrim-içi anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Evreni oluşturan yaklaşık 19.000 öğrenciden basit tesadüfî örnekleme yoluyla 712 geçerli form elde edilmiştir. Veriler SPSS 25.0 ile analiz edilmiş; tanımlayıcı istatistiklerin yanı sıra bağımsız örneklem t-testi, tek yönlü ANOVA, Pearson korelasyon testleri uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin üniversitenin eğitim programı ve akademik destek hizmetlerinden yüksek sosyal-kültürel imkânlardan ise orta düzeyde memnun olduğu bulgusu dikkati çekmektedir. Öğrenci görüşlerine göre sosyal, kültürel ve fiziki imkanları; eğitim görülen programın olanakları, hizmet alanı ve üniversite algısı bağlamında üniversitenin öğrenci dostu olduğu bulgusu ortaya konulmuştur.

This research, conducted to examine the multi-dimensional satisfaction levels of university students studying in Karaman province, includes conceptual information on student-friendly cities. In this context, focusing on the concepts of city, civic consciousness, and urban culture, city models are examined, and the characteristics of student-friendly cities are discussed. The study also examines the concept of higher education, evaluating examples of student-friendly cities from around the world and Turkey, as well as research related to these cities. Finally, the results of the field research conducted to determine the satisfaction levels of university students studying in Karaman province, and the analyses of the findings, are presented. This study, which utilized a quantitative research method, specifically the survey technique, and was designed using a cross-sectional survey design, collected data between March and April 2024 through both face-to-face and online survey methods. Approximately 712 valid forms were obtained from around 19,000 students through simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0; descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation tests were applied. A notable finding is that students are highly satisfied with the university's educational program and academic support services, but moderately satisfied with its socio-cultural opportunities. According to student opinions, the university is considered student-friendly in terms of social, cultural, and physical facilities; the opportunities offered by the program they are studying; the service area; and their overall perception of the university.
