Özet
Çevre dostu öğretmenler yetiştirmek adına önerilere ulaşmak için tasarlanan bu araştırmanın amacı, Paris Anlaşması'na uygun çevre eğitiminin nasıl olması gerektiğini belirlemek, Paris Anlaşması'na uygun çevre dostu etkinliklerin farklı lisans programlarındaki öğretmen adaylarının çevre bilincine ve iklim değişikliği bilincine etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın bir diğer amacı ise, bu çevre dostu etkinliklerin temelindeki kodlara ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek ve ilişki kurma düzeylerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu araştırma, karma yöntem araştırmalarından çeşitleme desene göre tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutu deneysel desenlerden tek grup ön test son test modeline, nitel boyutu ise bütüncül tek durum desenine göre tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel çalışma grubunu 2024-2025 eğitim öğretim yılı güz döneminde Isparta'da bulunan bir üniversitenin Eğitim Fakültesi'nde Matematik ve Fen Bilimleri Eğitimi, Temel Eğitim, Türkçe ve Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi, Yabancı Diller Eğitimi Bölümlerinde öğrenim gören 91, nitel çalışma grubunu ise 22 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama araçları Çevre Bilinci Ölçeği (ÇBÖ), bu araştırma için geliştirilen İklim Değişikliği Bilinci Ölçeği (İDBÖ), yapılandırılmış görüşme formu, etkinlik değerlendirme formu ve ödevlerdir. Araştırmanın veri kaynaklarından biri olan Paris Anlaşması dokümanıdır. Bu dokümanın analizi temelinde hazırlanan Paris Anlaşması'na uygun çevre dostu etkinlik paketi araştırmacı tarafından Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma İçin Eğitim dersinde uygulanmıştır. Uygulama 16 hafta boyunca sürmüştür. Nicel verilerin analizinde İlişkili Örneklem T-Testi ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi kullanılmıştır. Nitel veriler ise içerik analiziyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın temel sonucu, tasarlanıp uygulanan Paris Anlaşması'na uygun çevre dostu etkinliklerin çevre ve iklim değişikliği bilinci geliştirmede her anlamda yararlı ve yeterli olduğu şeklindedir.

This research, designed to gather recommendations for training environmentally friendly teachers, aims to determine how environmental education should be conducted in accordance with the Paris Agreement, and to examine the impact of environmentally friendly activities in line with the Paris Agreement on the environmental awareness and climate change awareness of prospective teachers in different undergraduate programs. Another aim of the research is to determine their views on the underlying codes of these environmentally friendly activities and to reveal their level of correlation. This research is designed according to the triangulation design, a type of mixed methods research. The quantitative dimension of the research is designed according to the single-group pre-test post-test model, a type of experimental design, while the qualitative dimension is designed according to the holistic single-case design. The quantitative study group consists of 91 prospective teachers studying in the Mathematics and Science Education, Basic Education, Turkish and Social Studies Education, and Foreign Languages Education Departments of the Faculty of Education at a university in Isparta during the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, while the qualitative study group consists of 22 prospective teachers. Data collection tools included the Environmental Awareness Scale (EAS), the Climate Change Awareness Scale (CCAS) developed for this research, a structured interview form, an activity evaluation form, and assignments. One of the data sources for the research was the Paris Agreement document. Based on the analysis of this document, an environmentally friendly activity package in line with the Paris Agreement was prepared and implemented by the researcher in the Education for Sustainable Development course. The implementation lasted for 16 weeks. The Related Samples T-Test and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test were used to analyze quantitative data. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The main conclusion of the research is that the environmentally friendly activities designed and implemented in line with the Paris Agreement are beneficial and sufficient in every aspect for developing environmental and climate change awareness.
