Özet
Kâbe, İslâm inancında dinin temeli olan namazın kıblegâhı olmakla beraber dünyanın yaratılışından önce de Allah'ın emri ile inşâ edildiğine inanılan kutsal mâbettir. Araştırmamız genel itibarıyla Kâbe ve sahip olduğu fonksiyonu hakkındadır. Resulullah zamanında namaz için kıble tayin edilmesinin yanısıra kendisinden önce gelen peygamberler için de kutsal ve Allah'ın kendisi için inşâ ettirdiği bir ev olarak bilinmekteydi. Bu çalışmamızda ilk olarak Hz. Âdem'in Kâbe'yi inşâ etmesinden bahsedilmektedir. İlk inşâ süreci olmasından dolayı Kâbe'nin nasıl inşâ edildiği ve temeli hakkında da izahlarda bulunulmuştur. Bu bilgilendirmeler ışığında Hz. İbrâhim, Hz. İsmâil ve devamında nüzûl sürecini barındıran, Resulullah'a Kâbe ile ilgili indirilen âyetler bağlamında çalışma zenginleştirilmiştir. Kâbe'ye gerek putperestlik inancının yayılmış olduğu cahiliye dönemi olsun gerek Resulullah'ın peygamberliği sürecinde olsun her zaman Allah katında kendisine verilen önem insanlar nezdinde de devam etmiştir. Bu kapsamda Kur'ân'ın Kâbe bağlamında mesajının temeli nüzûl sebepleriyle ve nüzûl sürecindeki durumu değerlendirilerek toplumdaki sosyo ekonomik ilişkilerelealınmıştır.

The Kaaba, in İslamicbelief, isnot only the qibla (diretion of prayer) that forms the foundation of religion through prayer but also a sacred sanctuary built by the command of Allah even before the creation of the World. This study, in general, focuses on the Kaaba and its religious and functional significance. During the time of the Prophet Muhammed, the Kaaba was designated as the direction of prayer, and even before him, it was known as a sacred house constructed by the command of Allah for His Worship. In this study, the construction of the Kaaba by Prophet Adam is first discussed. Since this was the initial stage of its construction, information is also provided regarding how the Kaaba was built and about its foundations. In light of these explanations, further general discussions are presented within the framework of verses revealed to Prophets Abraham and İsmâel and the subsequent process of revelation. Whether during the age of ignorance (Jâhiliyya), when idolatry was widespread, or throughout the prophetic mission of the Messenger of Allah, the importance that Allah placed upon the Kaaba Before and During the Revelation among people. The study entitled“ The Function of the Kaaba Before and During the Revelation According to the Qur'an”examines these issues through revelation (ashâb al-nüzûl), its role during the revelation period, and its influence on the socio-economik relations within society.
