Özet
Turizm sektörü yeni iş imkanları sunması, ödemeler dengesinde iyileşmeye yol açması ya da yerel üretimde artışa imkân vermesi gibi faktörler neticesinde ekonomik büyümeyi teşvik etmesine karşın, turizm sektörü; doğal çevre üzerinde iklim değişikliği, çevresel aşınma ve tahribat, su, gürültü, hava ve toprak kirliliği gibi etkilere de yol açmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, doğa dostu ulaşım sistemleri, hem çevre üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerin azaltılması hem de sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın desteklenmesi açısından önemli bir çözüm aracı olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Özellikle turizm sektöründe, çevresel etkilerin en aza indirgenmesi ve destinasyonların ekolojik değerlerinin korunması açısından çevreci ulaşım çözümleri giderek daha fazla önem kazanmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, sürdürülebilir ve doğa dostu ulaşım türlerinin turizm alanındaki önemini açıklamak ve bu ulaşım sistemlerinin turistik hareketlilik üzerindeki etkilerini inceleyerek doğa dostu ulaşım sistemlerine yabancı turistlerin bakışını ölçmektir. Bu çalışmanın amacına uygun olarak Türkiye'ye en az bir kere seyahat etmiş Avrupa kökenli yabancı turistlerin doğa dostu ulaşım sitemlerine bakışını ortaya koyarak konuyu çevresel, devlet politikaları, sürdürülebilir ulaşım bilinci, ulaşım şirketleri vb. açıdan ele almak hedeflenmektedir. Çalışmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Anket uygulanacak hedef turist kitlesi olarak Avrupa kökenli turistlerin seçilmesinin sebebi, hedef kitlenin Türkiye'yi en çok ziyaret eden turistleri oluşturması ve Avrupalı turistlerin çevre duyarlılığı yüksek ve çevre bilinci yüksek bir profile sahip olmasıdır. Bu manada Türkiye için turizm pazarlamasının gelecek planlamasında çevre bilinci ve sürdürülebilirlik konularında doğa bilinci gelişmiş, sosyo-kültürel ve ekonomik profili yüksek olan ve Türkiye'nin en çok turist gönderen Avrupa ülkelerinde yaşayan turistlerin bakış açısı dikkate alınmalıdır. Türkiye'ye en çok turist gönderen ilk 5 Avrupa ülkesi olan Almanya, İngiltere, Fransa, Hollanda ve Polonya inceleme alanını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma sonunda elde edilecek bulgularla hem kamu hem de özel sektör planlamalarına yön verecek öneriler sunulacaktır.

Although the tourism industry promotes economic growth by creating new employment opportunities, improving the balance of payments, and increasing local production, it also leads to negative impacts on the natural environment, such as climate change, environmental degradation, and water, noise, air, and soil pollution. In this context, nature-friendly transportation systems emerge as a significant solution for both reducing the environmental impact and supporting sustainable development. Especially in the tourism sector, eco-friendly transportation solutions are gaining increasing importance in minimizing environmental effects and preserving the ecological value of destinations. The aim of this study is to explain the importance of sustainable and eco-friendly modes of transportation in the field of tourism and to measure the perspective of foreign tourists on eco-friendly transportation systems by examining the effects of these transportation systems on tourist mobility. In line with this objective, the study seeks to examine the views of European tourists who have visited Turkey at least once, addressing the issue from various dimensions such as environmental awareness, government policies, sustainable transportation consciousness, and transportation companies. The data collection method employed in the study is a survey technique. European tourists were selected as the target group because they represent the majority of visitors to Turkey and are generally known to have high environmental awareness and sensitivity. In this regard, for future tourism marketing strategies in Turkey, it is essential to consider the perspectives of environmentally conscious tourists with high socio-cultural and economic profiles, particularly those living in the top European countries sending the most tourists to Turkey. These countries—Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, and Poland—constitute the scope of this study. The findings obtained at the end of the study are expected to provide recommendations that will guide both public and private sector planning efforts.
