Özet
Turizm, yürütüldüğü destinasyon üzerinde olumlu ekonomik, kültürel, sosyal ve çevresel etkileri olan bir sektördür. Ancak, plansız ve kontrolsüz gelişime bağlı olarak turizm olumsuz sosyo-kültürel ve çevresel sonuçlar meydana getirebilmektedir. Turizmin destinasyon üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerini azaltarak daha sorumlu bir şekilde yürütülmesinde sürdürülebilir turizm ön plana çıkmaktadır. Sürdürülebilir turizmin etkin bir şekilde yürütülmesinde ise yerel halkın bölgeye ve turizme yönelik tutumları kilit rol oynamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, araştırmanın amacı Gaziantep'te bulunan yöre halkının sürdürülebilir turizm kapsamında, sorumlu turizm algısının ve kentsel aidiyet duygusunun, turizm gelişimini destekleme davranışı üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu kapsamda araştırmanın verileri Gaziantep'te ikamet eden 505 katılımcıdan elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPPS paket program aracığıyla doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ve regresyon analizi ile test edilmiştir. Sonuçlar, yerel halkın kentsel aidiyet duygusunun ve sorumlu turizm algısının turizm gelişimini destekleme tutumunu pozitif olarak etkilediğini göstermektedir. Bununla beraber, sorumlu turizmin alt boyutları olarak ekonomik, politik, çevresel ve sosyo-kültürel sorumluluk algısının turizm gelişimini destekleme üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı pozitif etkisine ulaşılmıştır. Bu araştırma, sorumlu turizm algısı ve kentsel aidiyet duygusu ile turizm gelişimini destekleme arasındaki ilişkiyi yerel halk bakış açısıyla inceleyerek alan yazına katkı sağlamaktadır.

Tourism is a sector that has positive economic, cultural, social, and environmental impacts on the destination where it is carried out. However, due to its unplanned and uncontrolled development, it can lead to negative consequences in broader contexts, such as socio-cultural and environmental aspects. In this regard, sustainable tourism emerges as a critical approach to mitigating the negative impacts of tourism and promoting its more responsible implementation. The effective implementation of sustainable tourism hinges significantly on the attitudes of local residents toward both the destination and tourism activities. Thus, the aim of this research is to examine the impact of the local people's perception of responsible tourism and their sense of urban belonging on their behavior in supporting tourism development within the scope of sustainable tourism in Gaziantep. Data were collected from 505 participants residing in Gaziantep. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS software package, employing confirmatory factor analysis and regression analysis. The results indicate that both the local residents' sense of urban belonging and their perception of responsible tourism positively influence their attitudes toward supporting tourism development. Furthermore, the sub-dimensions of responsible tourism, namely, perceptions of economic, political, environmental, and socio-cultural responsibility, were found to have statistically significant positive effects on supporting tourism development. This research contributes to the literature by examining the relationship between the perception of responsible tourism and the sense of urban belonging in supporting tourism development from the perspective of the local community.
