Özet
Yüzyıllar boyu, insanın en temel hayata devam edebilme, üretebilme enerjisi olan arzu/libido, çoğunlukla dinsel, felsefi, sosyo-politik, bilimsel, psikolojik birçok farklı perspektiften, negatif bir bağlamda konumlandırılmıştır. Bu minvalde, analiz lensine göre, şeytani, tehlikeli, sağlıksız, patolojik gibi manipülatif etiketlerle, engellenmiş ve uygarlık dışına itilmiştir. Çünkü arzu/libido, neredeyse bütün toplumları kökünden sarsabilecek dinamik ve devrimci bir güce sahiptir; yapı, içerik ya da bağlam fark etmeksizin bütün kabulleri alaşağı edebilir. Arzunun/libidonun doğası üzerine felsefe ve psikoloji temelli çalışmalar yapan ünlü Fransız filozoflar Gilles Deleuze ile Felix Guattari, bu kozmik gücün özgür bırakılmasının, kendi ifadeleri ile 'arzu devriminin' gerekliliğini vurgularlar. Bu tez, arzunun/libidonun zihnen hadım edilmesine muhalif Deleuzoguattaryan bir okuma yöntemi ile kendisi de birçok açıdan muhalif olan ünlü İngiliz-İskoç şair Carol Ann Duffy'nin seçme şiirlerini, bu bağlamda analiz edecektir. Bu analiz için seçilen Duffy'nin tüm şiirleri, arzunun dinamik doğasını ve sosyal üretim için şizo-özünün sosyo-politik manipülasyonunu çok boyutlu bir şekilde örneklemektedir. Seçilen tüm şiirler, arzunun saf, özgür oluşumlarını ve sosyal temsillerini bir arada sunmakta ve böylelikle tez argümanlarını desteklemek adına şiirlerin seçilmesini geçerli kılmaktadır. Bu analiz yapılırken, bireye, arzu temelli uygulanan baskının içkin/ruhsal ve aşkın/sosyal boyutları derinlemesine tartışılacaktır. Çalışma, şiirlerin şizoanalitik okumasıyla, hem arzunun güdümbilim algoritmalarıyla kapana kıstırılışı ve toplumsal hayattaki libidinal yatırımların ifşa edilerek örneklenmesini, hem de libidinal özgürleşmenin/arzu devriminin yöntem ve hallerinin resmedilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Konu, Deleuze ve Guattari'nin 'toplumu/bireyi inşa etme yöntemleri' olarak isimlendirdikleri 'biyolojik organizasyon', 'dil' ve 'özneleştirme' olmak üzere üç ana filtre ile eleştirel bir şiarla ele alınacaktır. Böylelikle arzunun hadım edilişi, aile, cinsellik ve evlilik parametreleri de eklenerek, bedenin ve ruhun dil yoluyla nasıl yerliyurtlulaştırıldığı gösterilecek, bu amaca hizmet eden libidinal yatırımlar ifşa edilecektir. Bunun yanı sıra şizoanalitik karşıt argüman ve (şiirlerden) örnekler sunularak aksinin yani bireyi/hayatı/arzuyu işlevsel bir şekilde yersizyurtsuzlatırmanın mümkün olabileceği kanıtlanmaya çalışılacaktır.

For ages, desire/libido, the fundamental energy that sustains human existence and productivity, has been predominantly assessed negatively across various domains—religious, social, political, scientific, and psychological—due to its inherently transformative nature. In this context, it has often been blocked and marginalized from civilization through numerous stigmatizing labels such as demonic, dangerous, and pathological, which depend on the perspective employed. For desire/libido wields a dynamic and revolutionary effect capable of destabilizing nearly all cultures; it can subvert all established norms irrespective of structure, content or context. French philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, who conduct philosophical and psychological inquiries about the essence of desire/libido, underscore the necessity of liberating this productive force, in their words, the desire revolution. This thesis will examine the selected poems from The World's Wife collection by the distinguished English-Scottish poet Carol Ann Duffy, frequently considered a dissident, employing a Deleuzoguattarian reading approach, Schizoanalysis, which contests the castration of desire/libido. All of Duffy's poems chosen for this analysis multi-dimensionally exemplify the dynamic nature of desire and the socio-political manipulation of its schizo-essence for social production. All of the selected poems present both the pure, free becomings of desire and its social representations together and thus substantiates the selection of poems to support the thesis arguments. In this analysis, the immanent/psychological and transcendent/social dimensions of desire-based oppression applied to individuals will be discussed in depth. The study, through the schizoanalytic reading of the poem, attempts to illustrate the confinement of desire inside the cybernetical algorithms, the exemplification of libidinal investments in the social life through their decipherment, as well as the strategies and becomings of the libidinal emancipation/desire revolution. The topic will be rigorously studied through three primary lenses: 'biological organization,' 'language,' and 'subjectification,' which Deleuze and Guattari describe as 'the modes of production' of society and the individual. By including the parameters of family, sexuality, and marriage into the concept of libidinal castration, this analysis will elucidate how both the body and cognition are territorialized through language, while also uncovering the libidinal investments that facilitate this process. Furthermore, schizoanalytic counterarguments and illustrative examples from poetry will be provided to demonstrate that the contrary is feasible, specifically that it is conceivable to functionally deterritorialise the individual/life/desire in any context.
