Özet
ÖZET Bu çalışmada, Çoklu Zeka Kuramının Hayat Bilgisi Dersinde öğrenme sürecine etkisinin ne olduğunun ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, 2000 - 2001 Bahar Döneminde Ankara Özel Tevfik Fikret Lisesi İlköğretim Okulu'ndaki 3 - B ve 3 - C sınıflarında iki ünitede uygulanmıştır. Çoklu Zeka Kuramına dayalı olarak hazırlanmış öğrenme faaliyetlerinin öğrenme sürecine etkisi, öğretmen düşüncelerine etkisi ve öğrenci düşüncelerine etkisi nitel araştırma teknikleriyle incelenmiş, öğrenci başarısına etkisinin ne olduğunu görmek için basan testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlan aşağıda verilmiştir. 1. Çoklu Zeka Kuramına göre hazırlanmış ders planı kapsamında yürütülen uygulama sürecinde öğrencilerin derse etkin katılımlarının olduğu, kullanılan farklı yöntem ve materyallere karşı ilgi gösterdikleri, süreç içerisinde bireysel ve grup olarak yapılan etkinliklerden etkilendikleri görülmüştür. 2. Çoklu Zeka Kuramına göre hazırlanmış ders planı kapsamında yürütülen derslerdeki resim çizme, çizdikleri resimleri hareketlerle anlatma, hikaye tamamlama, hikaye yazma, şiir yazma, radyo programı yapma, televizyon programı yapma, bilgi yarışması düzenleme, açık oturum düzenleme, gazete ve poster hazırlama gibi sınıf içi etkinliklerden etkilendikleri ve büyük oranda katlimi gösterdikleri gözlenmiştir. 3. Öğrencilerin Çevremizdeki Canlılar ile Dünya ve Uzay ünitelerinde Çoklu Zeka Kuramının öngördüğü davranışlara uygun ve paralel olarak derse katılmış olduklan görülmüştür. 4. Ill ABSTRACT In this study, the effect of Multiple Intelligence Theory to the learning process in Life Science Lessons has been researched. In terms of this survey, the differences in learning process, teachers and students“troughts and the differences of the students”success have been researched. The study was applied in 3 - B and 3 - C classes of Private Tevfik Fikret Primary School as two units in 2000 - 20001 fall season. The effect of learning activities prepared based on Multiple Intelligence Theory on learning process, teacher's approaches and student's approaches were examined by using qualitative research techniques and a success test was used to see the effects of the theory on the success of the students. The results of the survey are given below. 1. During the implementation process of session plan prepared in accordance with multiple intelligence theory, reveals that the students participate to the session actively show interest to the different methods and materials and are effected by the activities carried out either individually or as a group. 2. The students are affected and participating more actively to the session prepared by using multiple intelligence theory, which includes picture drawing, explaining the pictures by using body language, completing the story, writing a story and poet, preparing radio programme, organizing information contest, organizing panel discussion, preparing newspaper and wall-chart. 3. It was observed that the students were behaved appropriate and parallel to the Multiple Intelligence Theory at the Lives in our Environment and Earth and Space modules.IV 4. Students use their exploring skills by using technology such as internet, scientific literature according to the session plans. In that sense, it can be concluded that the Multiple Intelligence Theory has a positive impact on the process of lesson for Information on Life. Especially the preparation of newspaper and wall-charts are the most attractive activities for the students to use their exploring skills and due to different activity. 5. The teachers were also very sensitive and eager to courage the implementation. They also very cooperative with the surveyor. The teachers' approaches towards the theory was generally positive. The students were found successful both in individual work and the group work. 6. The students mentioned their appreciation and sorrows due to complication of the study reveals that Multiple Intelligence Theory was different for them. 7. The teachers mentioned that the sessions which the multiple intelligence theory was implemented, were more active, more explorative and enjoyable but they mentioned that a preparation phase for the implementation was needed and the control of students during the group work was difficult. 8. In the scope of the environmental life unit and as a result of the success test prepared and applied to the experiment and control group, the lesson plan of Multiple Intelligence Theory which has been prepared according to traditional methods has been more effective. In the scope of the world and space unit and as a result of the success test prepared and applied to the experiment and control group, no difference has been gathered in the lesson plan of Multiple Intelligence Theory and the application of a lesson prepared according to traditional methods.
