Özet
Tez çalışmasında kolektif hakların temsil edilebilirliği ve bu temsile ilişkin entelektüel vesayet incelenmiştir. Bir taraftan kolektif hak taleplerinin topluluk değerleri ile özdeşleştirilmesinin yaratacağı riskler, diğer taraftan siyasal sistemlerde katılım mekanizmalarının genişlemesi ve siyaset anlayışının geniş kitlelerin yönetilmesi düşüncesinden koparak siyasalın hayatın her alanına yayılan bir çerçevede düşünülmesi, günümüzde“temsil”kavramını sorgulanır hâle getirmiştir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada, artık kitlelerin politik alandaki mücadelelerde kendi seslerini dile getirdikleri ve entelektüelin rolünün temsil etmekten ziyade bu mücadelelerde kitlelerle birlikte hareket etmek olduğu ileri sürülmüş; entelektüelin bu işlevini ne düzeyde yerine getirdiği sorgulanmıştır. Çalışma, kolektif haklar, temsil ve entelektüel vesayet arasındaki ilişkiyi bütüncül biçimde ele alması ve bu alanda doktora tezi ölçeğinde tespit edilen literatür boşluğunu doldurmayı hedeflemesi bakımından önemlidir. Kolektif hak, temsil ve entelektüel gibi değer yönelimli kavramların zaman ve mekân bağlamında ele alındığı ve bu kavramların birbirleriyle olan ilişkilerini anlamaya odaklanılan bu tez çalışmasında yorumlayıcı anlama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, Türkiye'de kadınların hak mücadelesi teması etrafında örgütlenen KADEM ve Mor Çatı'nın kamuya açık metinleri incelenmiş; elde edilen veriler içerik analizi tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Nihayetinde, kadın hakları söyleminin sabit bir içeriğe sahip olmadığı; anlamının ancak içinde yer aldığı kurumsal, ideolojik ve siyasal bağlam içerisinde kavranabileceği ortaya konmuştur.

In this thesis, the representability of collective rights and the intellectual tutelage related to this representation were examined. On the one hand, the risks that may arise from identifying collective rights claims with community values, and on the other hand, the expansion of participation mechanisms in political systems and the shift in the understanding of politics away from the idea of governing large masses toward a framework in which the political extends into every sphere of life, have made the concept of“representation”increasingly questionable today. In this regard, the study argued that the masses expressed their own voices in political struggles and that the role of the intellectual was not to represent them, but rather to act together with them in these struggles; it also questioned the extent to which the intellectual fulfilled this function. The study was significant because it addressed the relationship between collective rights, representation, and intellectual tutelage in a holistic manner and aimed to fill a literature gap identified at the level of a doctoral thesis. In this thesis, value-oriented concepts such as collective rights, representation, and the intellectual were examined within the context of time and space, and the interpretive understanding method was used to understand the relationships among these concepts. The publicly available texts of KADEM and Mor Çatı, organized around women's rights struggles in Turkey, were examined, and the data obtained were analyzed through content analysis. Ultimately, the thesis revealed that women's rights discourse did not have a fixed content; rather, its meaning could only be understood within its institutional and political context.
