ÖZET SINIF ÖĞRETMENLİĞİ ÖĞRENCİLERİ İLE SINIF ÖĞRETMENLİĞİ SERTİFİKA GRUBU ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN YETERLİKLERİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ VE BU GÖRÜŞLERİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI Savaş, Behsat Yüksek Lisans, Eğitimde Program Geliştirme Tez Danışmanı: Prof. Dr. Ali Güler Ocak 2001, 107 sayfa Araştırmada, sınıf öğretmenliği son sınıf öğrencileri ile sınıf öğretmenliği sertifika grubu öğrencilerinin kendi yeterliklerine ilişkin görüşleri ve görüşleri arasındaki farklar ele alınmıştır. Çalışma evrenini 401 sınıf öğretmenliği öğrencisi, 310 sertifika öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Sınıf öğretmenliğinden 159 sertifika grubundan 121 öğrenci örnekleme dahil edilmiştir. Genel olarak karşılaştırıldığında sertifika grubunun daha yüksek oranda kendisini sınıf öğretmeni olarak algıladıkları görülmüştür.Sertifika grubunu oluşturan branşlar arasında anlamlı farklar görülmüştür. Sertifika grubunda cinsiyete göre yeterlik görüşlerinde erkek öğrenciler lehine anlamlı farklar gözlenmiştir. Sınıf öğretmenliği grubunda ise kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre daha yüksek oranda kendilerini yeterli algıladıkları gözlenmiştir. Sertifika ve sınıf öğretmenliği kız öğrencileri arasında anlamlı farklar sınırlı iken, erkek öğrencilerde sertifika grubu lehine anlamlı farklar gözlenmiştir. Yapılan araştırmalarda da sertifikalı sınıf öğretmenlerinin kendilerini yüksek derecede yeterli algıladıkları görülmüştür, ±>unun nedenleri; çevreden yöneltilen olumsuz eleştiriler, kendilerini başarılı gösterme duygusu, kendilerini değerlendirmedeki ölçütlerin farklılığı şeklinde açıklanabilir. Sınıf öğretmeliği sertifikası eğitimi süreci içinde yer alan öğrencilerinde aynı duygulara sahip olduklarından benzer görüşleri yansıttıkları veya SDÜ, BEF sertifika programının etkili olduğu söylenebilir.

ABSTRACT THE OPINIONS OF STUDENTS OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHING DEPARTMENT AND OF THE CERTIFICATE GROUP IN RELATION TO THEIR COMPETENCE A COMPARISON Savaş, Behsat Master of Science, Department of Education Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ali Güler January 2001, 107 pages In this research, the opinions of students in both the Primary School Teaching Department and the Certificate Group in relation to their own competence are dealt with. In addition, the differences between these opinions are also examined. The population of this study is formed by 401 students of primary school teaching department and 310 students of the certificate group. 159 students of primary school teaching department and 121 students of the certificate group are included in the sample. When compared generally, it is seen that the students of the certificate group perceive themselves, to a great extent, as primary school teachers. In the certificate group, meaningful differences are seen between the opinions of competence, in relation to the branches.Meaningful differences are also observed in the certificate group in favour of the male students in relation to sex. In the primary school teaching group, it is observed that the female students perceived themselves as competent to a great extent. It is also observed that while the meaningful differences between the female students of the certificate group and of the primary school teaching department are limited, the male students of the certificate group perceived themselves as competent to a great extent. In the other researches, it is also seen that the primary school teachers with certificates perceive themselves as competent to a great extent. The reasons for this perception can be explained by the positive opinions of the people around, the desire to appear successful and the differences in the evaluative criteria. As the students who participated in the process of the primary school teaching certificate education have the same feelings, it can be said that they reflect similar opinions. It can also be said that the SDU, BEF certificate program is effective.
