Özet
Dört büyük inanç sistemlerinden birisi olan Hristiyanlık, var olduğu günden bu yana kimi şahsiyetler tarafından bazen desteklenmiş bazen de karşıt görüşler ortaya atıla-rak çürütülmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu gibi yaklaşımlar denilince hiç şüphesiz akla ilk gelenler-den Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche ve Lev Nikolayeviç Tolstoy'un savundukları görüşler, büyük kitleler tarafından kendi zamanlarında konuşulmuş ve hala konuşulmaya devam etmektedir. Alman filozof Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (D.1844-Ö.1900), XIX. Yüzyıl felsefesini Hristiyanlık eleştirisi ile derinden etkilemiş, büyük kitlelerin zihinlerinde derin değişimler meydana getirmiştir. Onun“Tanrı öldü”sözü, döneminin düşünce dünyasında bir şok etkisi meydana getirmiş ve o zamandan bugüne ortaya attığı fikirler ile birçok dü-şünürü etkisi altında bırakmıştır. Aynı şekilde tüm zamanların en etkili edebiyat yazarı ve düşünürleri arasında kabul edilen Lev Nikolayeviç Tolstoy'da (D.1828-Ö.1910) Hristi-yanlık inancına karşı zamanının ötesinde kabul edilebilecek, Hristiyanlığın kendi doktrin-lerine mantık dehası eleştiriler sunmuş, bu inancın öğretilerinden yola çıkarak birçok yeni-likçi fikir ortaya atmıştır. Bu çalışma, Nietzsche ve Tolstoy'un Hristiyanlık inancına yö-nelttikleri eleştirileri felsefi bir anlayışla ele almakta ve bu eleştirilerin dayandığı temel kav-ramları ve düşünsel arka planı ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda her iki dü-şünürün Hristiyanlık karşısındaki tutumlarını hem eleştirel düzlemde incelemekte hem de ortaya koydukları alternatif anlayışları değerlendirmektedir. En sonunda ise elde edilen bulgular ışığında Nietzsche ve Tolstoy'un düşünceleri mukayeseli bir şekilde ele alınarak aralarındaki temel benzerlikler ve farklılıklar ortaya konulmaktadır.

Christianity, one of the four major faith systems, has, ever since its inception, been both supported by certain figures and, at other times, subjected to attempts to refute it through the advancement of opposing views. When such approaches are mentioned, the views advocated by Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche and Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy are un-doubtedly among the first to come to mind; these were widely discussed by large sections of the public in their own times and continue to be discussed today. The German philo-sopher Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (B.1844–D.1900) profoundly influenced 19th cen-tury philosophy through his critique of Christianity, bringing about deep changes in the minds of the masses. His statement that 'God is dead' caused a shockwave in the intellec-tual world of his era and has influenced many thinkers ever since through the ideas he put forward. Similarly, Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy (B.1828–D.1910), widely regarded as one of the most influential literary figures and thinkers of all time, presented critiques of Christian doctrine with a genius for logic that could be considered ahead of his time, and, drawing on the teachings of this faith, put forward many innovative ideas. This study examines the criticisms levelled by Nietzsche and Tolstoy against the Christian faith from a philosophical perspective and aims to elucidate the fundamental concepts and intellectual background underpinning these criticisms. In this context, it examines the attitudes of both thinkers towards Christianity both on a critical level and evaluates the alternative perspec-tives they put forward. Finally, in the light of the findings, the thoughts of Nietzsche and Tolstoy are examined in a comparative manner, highlighting the fundamental similarities and differences between them.
