Özet

KLASİK OSMANLI DÖNEMİ SİNAN CAMİLERİNİN BİÇİM GRAMERİ AÇISINDAN İRDELENMESİ ÖZET Klasik Osmanlı Dönemi Sinan Camilerinin biçim gramerini irdeleyen bu çalışmada, bu dönemi örnek alan günümüz camilerinde görülen biçimsel, oransal ve kurgusal deformasyonlara ilişkin bir Önerinin temelini oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda İslamiyetin ilk yıllarından Klasik Osmanlı Dönemine kadar olan süreçte cami tipolojisinin geçirdiği evrim irdelenerek, Klasik Osmanlı Dönemi Cami Mimarisinin ve Sinan caınilerinin tipolojik özellikleri ortaya koyulmuştur. ikinci aşamada biçim gramerinin temelini oluşturan mimarlığın matematiksel ve mantıksal modeli hakkında bilgi verilmiş, biçim, biçim ilişkileri, biçim fonksiyonları, tasarım dili, mimari dilin sözcük dağarcığı, dönüştürme işlemleri, bir araya getirme işlemleri ve yer değiştirme kuralları gibi biçim gramerinin temelini oluşturan tanımlara yer verilmiştir. Son aşamada ise Sinan camilerinin tipolojik özelliklerini ortaya koyan kurallar oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmada izlenen yol; çalışmaya temel olacak Klasik Osmanlı Dönemi Sinan Camilerinin belli başlı örneklerin incelenerek şemalarının oluşturulması, şemalardan okunan bilgilerin gruplanması, bu gruplara ilişkin biçim grameri kurallarının yazılması ve seçilen beş örnek caminin biçim grameri kuralları ile formüle edilerek modellenmesi olarak sıralanabilir. Sonuç bölümünde günümüz cami mimarisindeki biçimsel, oransal ve kurgusal deformasyonlar ve sebepleri ortaya koyularak, yazılan gramer kurallarının bu probleme bir çözüm önerisi olabilecek bir model ele alınmıştır. Sinan camilerinin gramer kurallarının oluşturduğu algoritmanın, mimarlık eğitimde kullanılabilecek bir programın temeli olacak şekilde düzenlenmesi önerilmektedir. xı

THE SHAPE GRAMMAR OF CLASSICAL OTTOMAN PERIOD - SEVAN MOSQUES SUMMARY In this study, which investigates the shape grammar of Classical Ottoman Period Sinan Mosques, a base of a solution offer about the formal, proportional and compositional distortions of the current mosque typology is aimed to be established. In this content, the evolution of the mosque typology between the first years of Islamic Religion and Classical Ottoman period is investigated» the basic typological features of Classical Ottoman Sinan Mosque Architecture is settled. In the second step, the logical and mathematical model of architecture which forms the basis of shape grammars is introduced and the terms like shape, shape relations, shape functions, design language, architectural vocabulary, transformations, combinations, replacement rules are defined. And İn the last step, the rules that settle the typological properties of Sinan mosques are written. The method that is followed in this study is, to make the plan schemas of the proper examples of the Classical Ottoman Period Sinan mosques, to group these schemas, to write the shape grammar rules of these groups, to write the formulations of the chosen mosques with their solid models and to establish these rules as a solution offer to the formal and proportional distortion of the current mosque typology. In the result section the reasons of formal, proportional and compositional distortions of the current mosque typology is established and a model that can be a solution to this problem is offered. The algorithm which is formed by the shape grammar rules of Sinan mosques is offered to be compiled to perform an education program. This program can automatically design and make solid models of mosques according to input data. xn
