Özet

ÖZET etkili fen bilgisi öğretimi denemesi Özlem ASLAN Balıkesir Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Fizik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı (Yüksek Lisans Tezi / Tez Danışmanları : Prof.Dr.Ömer ERGİN, Prof.Dr.Nevzat BATTAL) Balıkesir, 2001 Araştırmanın temel amacı, geleneksel yöntemlerle yapılan fen öğretimi ile ucuz ve basit malzeme kullanarak yapılan laboratuvar ağırlıklı fen öğretiminin basan düzeyine ve öğrenmenin kalıcılığına etkisini karşılaştırmaktır. Deneysel nitelikte olan bu araştırma, laboratuvar ağırlıklı fen öğretimi için Balıkesir ili, Balya ilçesindeki bir ilköğretim okulunun 7. sınıflarına uygulanmıştır. 7. sınıf fen bilgisi dersi elektrik ünitesinden seçilen 20 davranışın öğretilmesine yönelik iki grup seçilmiştir. Deneme grubundaki 3 1 öğrenciye ucuz ve basit malzeme ile laboratuar ağırlıklı öğretim yöntemi, kontrol grubundaki 30 öğrenciye de geleneksel öğretim yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Tanımaya yönelik değerlendirme testi, erişi düzeyini saptamaya yönelik son test ve hatırlama düzeyini belirleme testleri yapılmıştır. Bu testleri sonuçlarına göre erişi düzeyini saptamaya yönelik son testte ( t=13.12) ve hatırlama düzeyini belirleme testinde ( t=10.63) olduğu görülmüştür. Ucuz ve basit malzeme ile yapılan laboratuvar ağırlıklı fen öğretiminin, geleneksel yöntemlerle yapılan fen öğretimine göre daha etkili ve kalıcı olduğu görülmüştür. ABSTRACT EFFECTUAL TEACHING OF SCIENCE Özlem ASLAN Balıkesir University, Institute of Science, Department of Physics Education (M. Sc. Thesis / Supervisors: Prof.Dr.Ömer ERGİN, Prof. Dr. Nevzat BATTAL) Bahkesir-Turkey, 2001 The basic goal of this research compares the teaching of science that bases on the laboratory in which cheap and simple materials are used with the traditional teaching of science's effect on the level of success and the permanence of learning science. Experimentally qualified in this research, for the teaching of science with laboratory in order to teach 20 behaviours from the elecricity unit of the 7 th class science book, two groups were selected from a secondory school in Balya which is one of a district of Balıkesir province. 3 1 students in the test group were applied the teaching method with cheap and simple materials are used and 30 students in the control group were applied the traditional teaching method. Then, the students were applied in three type of tests as an evaluation test, a last test for the level of reaching and a test to determine the level of remember. According to the results of these tests; it was seen that; the last test for the level of reaching (t= 13.12) and at the test for the level of remember (t=10.63). As a result, it was seen that: the teaching with laboratuary (with cheap and simple materials) is more effective and permanent than the traditional teaching of science.
