Özet
ÖZET iv Bireysel ahlaktan, politik ahlaka kadar toplumsal ve siyasal yaşamda akla uygun olanı öngören Aydınlanma düşüncesi; iyilik, adalet ve bilimsel bilgileri yaygınlaştırma çabası içerisinde XVIII. yüzyıl birey-toplum-yönetim üçlüsünü derinden etkilemiştir. Hoşgörü ve erdemlerin insan mutluluklarının kaynağını teşkil ettiği gerçeği ile hareket eden Aydınlanma, yüzyıl düşüncesi olma özelliği ile sanat alanında da kendini hissettirmiştir. Özellikle Aydınlık felsefenin; milliyetçiliğin dar görüşlerinden uzak durmaya çalışan, insanlara dünya yurttaşı olma yolunda ilerlemelerini öneren, din, politika ve toplumsal yaşamda hoşgörüye dayalı tavırları benimseyen dünya görüşünü; eğitici, öğretici, ahlak dersleri vermeyi amaçlayan ve aklın önemini vurgulayan yüzyıl tiyatrosu da benimsemiştir. Bu çağ düşüncesi ile kendini yönlendiren tiyatro sanatı, Aydınlanma felsefesinin doğanın yalın bir düzeni olduğu inancını kuramsallaştırmış, ardından da dönem yazarları sahnelerde yerini alacak yüzyıl düşüncesini yansıtan oyunlar yazmaya başlamışlardır. Bu çalışmada. Aydınlanma döneminin toplumsal ve siyasal yapısına değinildikten sonra dönem sanatı ve tiyatro alanında yaşanan gelişmeler ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ana amacı Aydınlanma düşüncesinin tiyatro sanatında nasıl etkili olduğu ve topluma hangi açılardan yansıtıldığının incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla öncelikle Renaissance Dönemi ve XVII. dönemi düşüncesi, toplumsalı, sanat ve tiyatro anlayışı ele alınmış, daha sonra bu çalışmalar XVIII. yüzyıl Aydınlanma döneminin rasyonalist tutumuyla geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen düşüncelerden yola çıkılarak seçilen iki model oyun ile Aydınlanma düşüncesinin nasıl bir dramatik yapı ile verildiği ve oyun yazarlarının Aydınlanma düşüncesinin hangi yönlerinden etkilendiği analiz edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT The Enlightenment concept which foresees to be reasonable in social and political life from individual ethics to political ethics, has effected deeply the 18th century's individual-society- management trio in the efforts of widespreading the goodness, justice and scientific knowledges. The Enlightenment which acts with the reality of tolerance and virtues constitutes the origin of mankind's happiness, has perceived itself in the field of art with its peculiarity of being century concept. In particular, the sight of Enlightenment philosophy which tries to stay away from the narrow minds of nationalism, advices the humanity to move further on the way of being a world citizen and which adopts the indulgent manners in religious, political and social life, has also been adopted by the century theater which aims to give lessons of educational and instructive ethics and emphazises the importance of the reason. The art of theater that orientates itself with the idea of this epoch, has theorticalized the belief that the philosophy of Enlightenment is the bare order of nature and then the authors of the period wrote plays which reflects the century concept that would take its part on the stages. In this study, after the Enlightenment period's social and political structure has been examined, it is mentioned that the improvements occured in the art of the period and in the field of theater. The main objective of this study is to examine the reflections of Enlightenment idea on the society and the effects on the art of theater. With this intention, first, the Renaissance Period and 17th century period's ideas, social, art and theater understanding is examined, then these studies are improved with the 18th century Enlightenment period's rationalist manner. By starting out from the improved ideas, it is analized that how the Enlightenment idea is emphasized with a dramatic structure and from which aspects öf the Enlightenment idea did the authors influenced.
