Özet
ÖZET Fotoğraf icat edildiği günden itibaren dönemini etkilemiş ve yeni vizyonlar sunarak görüntü tanımlamalarını çoğaltmıştır. Günümüzde ise her türlü fotografık görüntü, birbirini belirlemektedir ve fotografik türün kesin bir şekilde tanımlanması giderek zorlaşmaktadır. Diğer yandan, teknolojik gelişmeler fotografik gerçeklik üzerine her türlü müdahaleler yapmayı olanaklı kılar. Fotoğrafın farklı kullanımlara sahip olması ve çoklu anlamlar taşıması dolayısıyla bu dışavurum formu çağdaş sanat içersinde sıkça bulunmaktadır. Fotoğraf çağdaş sanat içersinde sanat eserinin kendisi, malzemesi ya da belge olarak yer alır. Aynı zamanda fotoğrafın başlıca iki ana fenomeni, yani portre - otoportre ve fotografik röprodüksiyon ve yeniden sunum, özellikle kavramsal sanat alanında, zengin bir sanatsal yaratıcılığa ilham kaynağı olmuştur. Bu tezin amacı, bu fenomeni bazı sanat eserlerini çözümleyerek tanımlamaktır. Ve, özellikle son otuz yılın eserleri seçilmiştir. Marcel Duchamp otoportrede, Andy Warhol da röprodüksiyon bağlamında bu yeni yaratıcılığın öncüleriydiler. Ve Cindy Sherman, Yasumasa Morimura, Sherrie Levine, Richard Prince vs... gibi sanatçılar, bu öncüleri takip edenlerden bazılarıdır. Aynı zamanda Serkan Özkaya gibi, bazı sanatçılar sanat çalışmalarını ironik bir şekilde kritize eder. Dieter Appelt, Nan Goldin, Shimon Attie, Christian Boltanski, Kenneth Josephson, Ahmet Elhan, Bülent Şangar vs... tezde eserleri incelenen sanatçılardandır. TX. YÜKSEivöirfü: JİM K.ÖMTLCT

ABSTRACT Since the invention of the photography, this new visual expression form had been efficient and had multiplied many visual identifications by realizing new visions. Nowadays, every kind of photographical image determines each other and determination of a photographical genre in an absolut way became more difficult gradually. On the other hand, the technological advancements create every kind of photographical image determines each other and determination of a photographical genre in an absolut way became more difficult gradually. On the other hand, the technological advancements create every kind of manipulations possibilities about photographical reality. The photography has many different using and polivalent meaning and by this reason this expression form has been included perfectly to the contemporary art. The photography, as an art work, art material and document is taking place in the contemporary art. At the same time, the two principal phenomena of photography that means the photographical portrait and photographical reproduction and representation inspires to a rich artistic creativity particularity in the conceptual art area. The aim of our thesis is determination of this phenomena by analizing some art works. And, especially, the works have been choosen that belong to the last 3 decades of XX. century. Marcel Duchamp for the autoportrait context then Andy Warhol for the reproduction context were the pionniers of this new kind of creativity. And, for example Cindy Sherman, Yasumasa Morimura, Sherrie Levine, Richard Prince are some important figures who follow the traces of these pionniers. At the same time, nowadays there are some artists who criticise the whole of art activity in a very ironical way like Serkan Özkaya. Dieter Appelt, Nan Goldin, Shimon Attie, Christian Boltanski, Kenneth Josephson, Ahmet Elhan, Bülent Şangar etc. are the other figures who have been taken place in our thesis. VT
