Özet
ÖZET Çalışma beş bölümden oluşmuştur Birinci bölümde mekan tanımlanmış, iç mekan, dış mekan kavramları ve aralarındaki ilişkiler ortaya konmuştur. İkinci bölümde tarihsel süreç içinde iç mekanın dönemlerin tarihi, kültürel sosyal ve teknolojik gelişmeler paralelinde nasıl geliştiği anlatılmış ve her döneme ait örnekler üzerinde mekandaki görsel biçimleniş incelenerek, mekanın, tasarım, eleştiri, tarih ve eğitim disiplinleri içinde bir bütün olarak nasıl analiz edilmesi gerektiği konusunda fikir edinilmeye çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde mekanı biçimlendirme yöntemlerine değinilmiş ve en basitinden en gelişmişine kadar çeşitli biçimlendirme yaklaşımları örneklerle açıklanmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde mekanda görsel etki üzerinde durulmuş, mekana estetik değer kazandıran görsel denge, geometrik kurgu, hacimsel devinim, gibi etkiler, ölçek, oran, ritim, vurgu, karşıtlık gibi ilkelere dayanılarak açıklanmış ve çeşitli tasarımcıların yaptığı çalışmalar üzerinde soyut diagramlarla gösterilmiştir. Bunun yanında Geştalt Algı Teorisi, mekan algısı, ekan formunda algı çeşitliliği gibi konulara da değinilmiştir.m Beşinci bölümde diğer bölümlerdeki bilgilerin ışığında, iç mekan tasarımında görsel düşünce sisteminin oluşturulması, görsel çözümleme tekniklerinin geliştirilmesi ve görsel düşüncenin organize edilmesine yönelik araştırmalar irdelenmiştir. Bunun yanında mekanın görsel biçimine ait karmaşık ilişkileri birkaç önemli ilke bazına indirgenerek soyutlama süreci anlatılmıştır. Böylece mekansal etkiyi oluşturan görsel (estetik) değerlen saptamak için analitik bakış açısının ve görsel bilincin nasıl oluşturulacağı ortaya konmuştur.

IV SUMMARY This study consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the“space”is defined, the concept of interior space and exterior space and relations between them are introduced. In the second chapter in the historical process the progress of interior space which is paralleel with social and technological progress, the history of the terms of interior space are told, the visual forming is evaluated by the help of the examples belong to each term.. It is tried to take a view about how the space must be analized entirely in the design, criticism, history and education disciplines. In the third chapter, the methods of shaping the space and ranging from the simplest to the most progressed approachment of various forming are explaned by examples. In the forth chapter, the visual effect on the space is underlined, the effects, giving esthetic value to space, such as visual balance, geometrical fiction, motion of volume are explained on the basis of some principles like scale, proportion, rhtym, stress, contrast. These effects are showed by the help of the abstract diagrams on the studies some designers. Beside this the subjects of geştalt Perception Theory, The impression of space, the variety on perception at the forms of space are stressed.In the fifth chapter under the illumination of other informations indicated in the other chapters, the investigations about constituion of visual thinking system, the progress of visiual solution technics and organisation of visual opinion. Beside this the process of the abstraction of the complex relations belong to visual shape of space is described by reducing these relations to the base of some important principles so that, it is put forward that how to set up the analytic point of view and visual conscious for finding out the visual values which constitute the effect of space.
