SUMMARY This doctorate thesis titled Khayriyye is a didactic aad moral mesaevi written by Nabi, a classical Ottomaa poet li ved.XVII. century, consists of three chapters : latroductioa, examin.atioa.aad the text. The first chapter,introduction, focuses on the definition classification and sources of nasihat -a ame (the advices.). The secoad chapter,examination, consists of four parts : In the first partial the nasihat-name 's written in ver se form were fixed and 43 of the were examined. In tae second part, the topics ia aasihat-aame have fese classificed. In the third part, the social aad cultural enviroameat ia which NSbî was brought up, aad his life, poetry aad per sonality have beea iatroduced. Ia the fourth part, Khayriyye has "feeea iavesitgated oota ia form aadi coateat. Here Nabî's ideas of religioa,Worsai; morality and tasavvuf (...) and his views aad criticism regarding establishment of the Ottomaa Empire have beea described, furthermore aa overall evaluatioa of criticism aga iasth Khayriyye have beea doae. Aad fiaally a geaeral evaluatioa of the work is givea and the place and value of the maauscript ia our literatür is presented.
