ABSTRACT A STUDY ON COMPARISON IN BETWEEN TEACHING WITH CLASSICAL METHODS AND TEACHING WITH ACTIVITIES IN MATHEMATICS TEACHING OBAY, Mustafa Master Thesis, Department of Mathematics Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ekrem SAVAŞ July 2002, 67 Page In this work, it is tried to work to determine the affect on success of student nathematics teaching with activities. For this study, it was chosen class 5-C as a group of experiment and class ^ as a control group at Beş Nisan primary school in Diyarbakır. This thesis consists of six chapters. In the first and second chapters some cnowledgements and definition were given. In the third chapter, material and method were studied. In the fourth chapter some statistical results were given. In fifth and sixth chapter, respectively students thought and suggestions re given.
