Özet

l.OZET Araştırmamız hemşirelerin, işlevlerinde bilgisayar kullanmalarına ilişkin görüş ve kaygılarım belirleyen ve eğitimin etkinliğini değerlendiren tanımlayıcı, analitik ve deneysel bir alan araştırması niteliğindedir. Çalışma hemşirelik hizmetlerinde bilgisayar kullanımının istendik düzeye gelmesini sağlamak için;. Hemşirelik hizmetlerinde, hemşirelerin bilgisayar kullanımı konusundaki görüş, isteklilik ve kaygılarını tanımlamak, bilgisayarı profesyonel bir meslek aracı olarak görmelerini sağlamak üzere eğitim yapmak ve eğitimin etkinliğini değerlendirmek,. Bilgisayar kullanımı ile ilgili kaygı durumunu etkileyen yaş, medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, çalışma süresi, çalışılan birim, görev, bakım ve tedavisi üstlenilen hasta sayısı gibi faktörlerle arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla planlanmıştır. Çalışma Sinop İlinde bulunan Sağlık Bakanlığı'na bağlı Atatürk Devlet Hastanesinde 21 Ekim 2002-14 Mart 2003 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma evrenini araştırma yaptığımız hastanede çalışan 123 hemşire, örneklem grubu ise basit rastlantısal örneklem metodu ile seçilen 50'si deney ve 50'si kontrol olmak üzere toplam 100 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Veriler bilgi formu, Bilgisayar Kullanımı Beklenti Skalası, Kaygı Derecesi Skalası ve Durumluk-Süreklilik Kaygı Envanteri kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Deney grubu hemşirelere, hemşirelik işlevlerinde bilgisayar kullanımının önemi ve gerekliliği ile ilgili bir el kitapçığı yardımı ile eğitim yapılmıştır. Eğitim öncesinde ve eğitim sonrasında bilgi formu ve ölçekler hem deney hem de kontrol grubu hemşirelerin tümüne uygulanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamındaki deney grubu hemşirelerde, eğitim sonrasında bilgisayar kullanım istekliliklerinin arttığı, kontrol grubu hemşirelerin bilgisayar kullanım istekliliklerinde ise bir değişiklik meydana gelmediği belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin kaygı profilleri değerlendirildiğinde; deney grubu hemşirelerin eğitim öncesinde kişisel/özel basamakta, eğitim sonrasında kişisel/özel basamak, işbirliği ve yeniden odaklanma basamaklarında kaygılarının oldukça yüksek düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Kontrol grubu hemşirelerde ise deney grubu hemşirelere uygulanan eğitim öncesinde ve eğitim sonrasında, kaygı profillerinde anlamlı bir değişim meydana gelmediği belirlenmiştir.

2.SUMMARY THE DETERMINATION OF THE OPINIONS AND THE CONCERNS RELATED TO NURSES' FUNCTION ON COMPUTER USING AND EFFECTIVENESS OF EDUCATION This study, a field research, is a definitive, analytic, and experimental work to define the views and concern of nurses about computer use and to assess the efficiency of an education applied about these issues. In order to advance in computer use in services performed by the nurses to the desired level this study:. is completed to define the nurses' views, wishes, and concern about the computer use in services given by nurse staff; to cause them to accept the computers as a professional tool and to provide fundamental education about this acceptance; and to evaluate the efficiency of the educational program applied. is planned to relate concern about computer use of the nurses with the following factors: their ages, family status (married or not), levels of education, work loads as hours, service units, positions, and number of patients they are taking care of, etc. This study was performed at the Atatürk State Hospital, which is controlled by the Turkish Ministry of Health, in Sinop Province in between October 21, 2002 and March 14, 2003. A total of 123 nurses working at this health care facility participated in this research. The evaluated group, consisted of a total of 100 nurse staffs, which was determined by random sampling methodology, was divided into two groups: 50 for the experiment and 50 for the control. The data was obtained by using the informational form, the scale of computer use expectation, the stage of concern questionnaire, and the inventory of condition- continuance. The nurses evaluated were given an education about the importance and necessity of computer use by staff nurses. Prior to and following the education, both groups were asked to give the filled informational forms and the scales back to the investigator. It was found that the members of the experimental group to have an increased tendency in Computer use after the application of educational program; whereas, the members of the control group was found to have the same tendency about the Computer use prior to and after the education program, which was only applied to the experimental group.Based on the fear profiles of the staff nurses, the experimental group members were found to have significantly notable concern in terms of individual/specific level prior to the educational program and in terms of individual/specific level and re-focus level following the educational program; whereas, in the control group, no significant change in concern levels was found to occur prior to and after the education applied only to the staff nurses in the experimental group.
