Dr. Ahmet KOÇAK Bu çalışmada başlangıç maddesi olarak benzen, toluen, fenol, 1,3,5 trimetil benzen (mezitilen) kullanılmıştır. Bu maddelerin AICI3 veya NaOH gibi katalizör or tamında epiklorhidrinle 50-60 °C'de 5 saat karıştırılarak uygun aromatik klorhidrinler sentezlenmiştir. Elde edilen aromatik klor hidrinlerin yapıları tesbit edildikten sonra bunlar uygun epoksitlere dönüştürülmüştür. Bu epoksit bileşiklerin bazı aminlerle kon- densasyon reaksiyonu yapılmıştır. Sentez edilen reaksiyon ürünlerinin yapıları kimyasal ve fiziksel metotlarla aydınlatılmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler : Aromatik epoksit, aromatik amin, aromatik aminoalkol. 11

ABSTRACT Master Thesis STUDIES OF CONDENSATION REACTION SOME AROMATIC EPOXIDES WITH AMINES Bengühan PEKPAK Selçuk University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Chemistry 2002, Page : 35 Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nejdet ŞEN Jury: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nejdet ŞEN Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan KURBANLI Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet KOÇAK In this study; benzene, toluol, Phenol, 1,3,5 trimethy benzene were used as starting materials. These compounds were converted to proper aromatic chlorhidrins with ephychlorhidrin in catalizor of Aliminiumtrichlore or sodium hiydroxide by stirring about five hours at 50-60 °C. After the determination of the structure of the syntesised aromatichlorhidrins returned to proper epoxides. And this epoxide compounds heve been condensation reaction with some amines. Furthermore the structures of the synthesied reaction products have been explained using physical and cherical methods.
