Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırmanın amacı İlköğretim 3. sınıflarda Bireysel ve Toplu Etkinlik saatlerine yönelik öğrenci beklentileri ile bu beklentilerin cinsiyet, anne ve babanın eğitim durumu, mesleği, okulun sosyo-ekonomik düzeyi ilişkileri ve öğretmenlerin Bireysel ve Toplu Etkinlik saatlerine yönelik algılan ve bu algıların cinsiyet, okulun bulunduğu yer, mezun olduğu okul türü, meslekteki hizmet süresi, Bireysel ve Toplu Etkinlik saatlerine giriş süresi, okuttuğu sınıf, okulun sosyo-ekonomik düzeyi ile olan ilişkilerini incelemektir. Araştırma İzmir İli Büyükşehir Belediyesi sınırları içerisinde yer alan 3 özel, 77 resmi ilköğretim okulunda 343 öğretmen ve 2730 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örnekleme alınan okullar sosyo-ekonomik durumlarına göre tabakalama yöntemiyle seçilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın verileri öğrenci Beklenti ölçeği ve öğretmen Algı Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın verilerinin analizinde Ortalama, Standart Sapma, Frekans, Yüzde, t testi, Varyans Analizi, Scheffe testi ve İki Yüzde Arasındaki Farkın Anlamlılık Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin beklentilerinin neler olduğu, bu beklentiler ile okulun sosyo-ekonomik düzeyi, anne ve babanın mesleği, eğitim durumu, arasında önemli farklılıklar saptanmıştır. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin Bireysel ve Toplu Etkinlik saatlerine yönelik algıların ortaya çıkarılması ve bu algıların cinsiyet, okul yeri, mezun oldukları okul türü, Bireysel ve Toplu Etkinlik saatlerine giriş süresi, okulun sosyo-ekonomik düzeye göre önemli farklılıklar gösterdiği saptanmıştır. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to explore the expectations of students regarding the individual and collective activity hours at the 1st, 2 nd and 3 rd grades of Primary Schools and the relations of these expectations with gender, the professions and educational statuses of mother and father and with the socio-economic level of the school, and the teachers' perceptions with gender, location of the school, type of the school they graduated from, their duration of service of the profession, duration of involving in the individual and collective activity hours, the grade to which they give instruction and with the socio-economic level of the school. The research was conducted on 343 teachers and 2730 students at 3 private and 77 public primary schools located within the borders of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. The sample schools were selected based on their socio-economic status with the stratification method. The research data were collected with Student Expectation Scale and Teacher Perception Scale. Arithmetic Mean, Standard Devination, Analysis of Variance, Scheffe Test and t-test were utilized in data analyses. As a result of the research, the students expectations have been determined and significant differences have been found between these expectations and the socio-economic level of the school as well as the professions and educational statuses of mother and father. Furthermore, the teachers' perceptions of the individual and collective activity hours have been determined, and it has been established that these perceptions presented significant differences depending on the gender, location of the school, the school they graduated from, duration of involving in the individual and collective activity hours and the socio-economic level of the school.
