Özet
öz Tezin konusu, Tanzimat döneminde dil ve edebiyatta milliyetçiliktir. Amacı, Türklerde milliyetçilik fikrinin şuurlu olarak Tanzimat'tan sonra ortaya çıktığını göstermektir. Kapsamı ise, ilmî ve edebî sahada milliyetçiliğin doğuşunda Avrupa'daki çalışmaların etkilerini ortaya koyduktan sonra, bu sahada yetişen sanatçıların fikir ve eserlerinden hareket ederek bu fikrin gelişme safhalarını belirtmektir. Tezin girişinde, konunun bölümleri ve işlenişi hakkında bilgi verilmektedir. Birinci bölümde, milliyetçiliğin dil ve edebiyatla münasebetleri üzerinde durulmakta ve Tanzimat'tan önceki dönemlerde dil ve edebiyattaki milliyetçilik çalışmalan özetlenmektedir. İkinci bölümde Tanzimat'ın oluşumu ve gelişme safhaları ile Tanzimat edebiyatının genel durumu ele alınmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde, edebî şahsiyetlerin eserlerinden giderek Tanzimat döneminde dil ve edebiyat alanında ortaya çıkan milliyetçi fikir ve yaklaşımlar örneklerle açıklanmaktadır. Dördüncü bölümde, Tanzimat sonrası oluşan fikir akımları ele alınmaktadır. Beşinci bölümde ise, II. Meşrutiyet'ten sonraki dil ve edebiyatta milliyetçilik fikrinin tezahürleri özetlenmiştir. Bu bölümde, özellikle, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nîn kuruluşunda ve Atatürk'ün cumhurbaşkanlığı döneminde dil alanında yapılan çalışmalarda, Tanzimat döneminde çalışmalann etkileri gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde, edebiyat tarihimizde, Tanzimat dönemindeki dil ve edebiyat alanında yapılan milliyetçi çalışmalann yeri ve önemi vurgulanmakta ve daha sonraki dönemlere yansımaları belirtilmektedir. Tezin sonuna hazırlanmasında yararlanılan eserleri belirten zengin bir bibliyografya konulmuştur. Bu tezin, Tanzimat'ın millet hayatımıza etkilerini ve milliyetçilik tarihimizi inceleyenlere, ciddi bir kaynak oluşturacağına inanıyorum. ABSTRACT The subject of the thesis is nationalism in language and literature in the period of the Ottoman Reformation (Tanzimat). Its aim is to reveal that the idea of nationalism among Turks is consciously spread after the Reformation period. Its content is, after presenting the influence of the works in Europe on the arising of nationalism in the literary field, to emphasize the development phases of this idea, using the opinions and works of the artists who have been educated in this area. In the introduction of the thesis, an information about the parts and processing of the subject is given. In the first part, the relation between nationalism and language and literature during the pre-reformation periods is summarized. In the second part, the formation and development phases of the Reformation and the general state of the Reformation period are dealt with. In the third part, nationalist ideas and approaches which arised in language and literature fields in the Reformation period are explained by examples.through the works of the literary persons. In the fourth part, curcents which emerged after Reformaiton period are analysed. In the fifth part, the manifestations of the idea of nationalism in language and literature after the II. Constitution are summarized.ln this part, especially, the effects of the studies in the Reformation period on the studies about language belonging to the period in which the Turkish republic was found and Atatürk was the presiuent.are tried to be shown. In the conclusion part, the position and significance of the nationalist studies on the field of language and literature in the Reformation period in our history of literature are explained and their reflections on the coming periods are shown. A rich bibliography including the helping works for the preparation of the thesis is placed at the end. I believe that this thesis will be a real source for the ones who examine the influences of the Reformation to our national life and our history of nationalism. I
