11 YÜKSEK LİSANS TEZ OZU YUNAN SANATFNDAMAKHİA; AMAZONOMAKHİA, GİGANTOMAKHİA, KENTAUROMAKHİA Ali BORA Klasik Arkeoloji Anabilim Dalı Anadolu Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Eylül 2004 Danışman: Yrd. Doç. Dr. Hüseyin Sabri ALANYALI Yunan mitolojisinde Amazonomakhia Gigantomakhia ve Kentauromakhia konularının, antik sanatta, özellikle mimari yapılardaki yansımalarının ele alındığı bu çalışma; söz konusu mitolojik yapıların kökenleri, etkilendikleri coğrafya, kültür ve etkiledikleri medeniyet ve toplumları sınırlı bir yaklaşımla incelemektedir. Antik dönemin sosyal, ekonomik, siyasal ve tarihi süreçlerinde aldıkları yeni şekiller ve özellikle tarihi olaylar ile aralarında kurulan analojiler dolayısıyla, bu mitosların basit birer söylenceler bütünü olarak nitelendirilemeyeceği anlaşılmıştır. Eskiçağ yaşamında çok önemli bir yeri olduğunu bildiğimiz mitos kavramı, bahsedilen söylenceler ışığında irdelenmekte ve içerdikleri gerçek anlam açıklanmaktadır. Sanatsal prensipler nedeniyle, özellikle kutsal mimari yapılarda tarihsel olayların direkt olarak betimlenmesinden çekinilmesi, Amazonomakhia, Gigantomakhia ve Kentauromakhia' yi; sadece mitolojinin değil aynı zamanda antik dünyada yaşananlann da bir aynası yapmıştır. Amazonomakhia, Gigantomakhia ve Kentauromakhia mitosları, Hellen toplumunun kendi tanımlarına göre Barbar (Doğu) olan her şeye karşı verdikleri egemenlik savaşlarını sembolize etmektedir...

Ill ABSTRACT THE ESSENTIAL OF THE THESIS OF HIGH LICENSE MACHY, AMAZONOMACHY, GIGANTOMACHY, KENTAUROMACHY IN THE GREEK ART Ali BORA Main scientific branch of Classic Archaeology Anadolu University Social Science Institute, September 2004 Counsellor: Assist. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Sabri ALANYALI The work concerning the subjects about Amazonomachy, Gigantomachy and Kentauromachy in the Greek mythology, in the antic art, specially the reflections in the architectural structure examines with a limited approach the origins of the related mythological structures, the geography and the culture that they affect, the civilisation and the society that they affect. The analogies found in the new figures obtained between the social, economical, political and historical process and specially historical events explain that these“mythos”are a simple humour wholeness. The“mythos”concept that had an important place in the ancient generation is now scrutinised under the lights of the humour mentioned and the real meaning that they imply is revealed. Due to art reasons, specially in divine architectural structures, the prohibition of the direct description of the historical events made Amazonomachy, Gigantomachy and Kentauromachy the mirror of not only the mythology but also the events happened in the antic world. According to the own definitions of the society of Helen, the mythos of Amazonomachy, Gigantomachy and Kentauromachy are the symbols of the sovereignty wars against every things that are barbarian (East).
