SANTRİFÜJ POMPA PROBLEMLERİNİN TEŞHİSİ ÎÇÎN BİR UZMAN SİSTEM GELİŞTİRİLMESİ ÇAĞATAY, Ediz Mühendislik Fakültesi Makina Mühendisi i ği Bölümü, Y. Lisans Tezi Tez Yöneticisi : Prof. Dr. O. Cahit ERALP 244 Sayfa, Temmuz 1991 ÖZET Bu tezin amacı, sorular sormak ve sorulan sorulara verilen cevapları değerlendirmek vasıtasıyla, santrifüj pompa problemlerinin sebep yada sebeplerini teşhis edebilmek için, kişisel bilgisayarlarda kullanılmak üzere bir uzman sistem geliştirilmesidir. Uzman sistemin geliştirilebilmesi için gerekli olan bilgi tabanı, bu konu üzerine yazılmış kitaplardan, makale lerden ve bilimsel yayınlardan önemli bilgilerin çıkarılması vasıtasıyla oluşturulmuştur. Bu uzman sistem, PCPlus adıyla bilinen bir paket program kullanılarak geliştirilmiştir. PCPlus, kişisel -vı-bilgisayarlarda kullanılmak üzere uzman sistem geliştirilme sini sağlayan bir programlama aracıdır. Bu uzman sistemin geliştirilmesinden sonra, değişik santrifüj pompa prob lemlerine karşı tepkisini görmek amacıyla, durum çalışmaları adı altında birçok kez denenmiştir. Bütün bu durum çalışma larının sonucunda görülmüştür ki geliştirilen uzman sistem, santrifüj pompa kullanıcılarına pompalarmdaki problemlerin sebeplerinin bulunmasında tatmin edici bir şekilde yardımcı olacaktır. Pompa problemlerinin sebep ya da sebeplerini bulabilmek için uzman sistem 330 adet kural kullanmaktadır.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN EXPERT SYSTEM FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF CENTRIFUGAL PUMP TROUBLES ÇAĞATAY, Ed iz Faculty of Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering, M. S. Thesis Supervisor: Prof. Dr. 0. Cahit ERALP 244 Pages, July 1991 ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to develop an expert system on a personal computer to diagnose the cause or causes of centrifugal pump troubles by asking questions to the user and evaluating the answers given to those questions. The expertise, which is necessary for the development of the expert system, has been formed by extracting outstanding informations from the articles, papers and books written on this field. The expert system has been created by using a software package known as PCPlus which is a programming tool that facilitates the creations of expert system applications for personal computers. After the development stage, the expert system has been tried many times as case studies to see its response to the different types -iv-of centrifugal pump troubles. In all of these case studies, it has been demonstrated that the expert system developed would help the centrifugal pump users to diagnose the cause or causes of centrifugal pump troubles satisfactorily. To be able to find the cause or causes of pump troubles, the expert system developed uses 330 rules.
