SUMMARY SOCIAL SERVICES TOWARDS OLD PEOPLE BY MEANS OF SOCIAL POLITICS Key Words : Senility, age, oldness Senility has been agenda for long years in developed countries and there are lots of studiesabout this subjectBut there are very few studies about senility in Turkey.Because the rate of old people in general population is small. Rest homes are accepted to be the only solution of these old people's problems.But today the rate of old people in Turkey is increasing. So problems of them, their needs and social policies about these people must be dealed with educated professionals. In this study; we mentioned the importance of this subject, we tried to answer questions and offered some solutions about what might be done extra. VI
