Özet

ÖZET Eğitim sistemimizde sekiz yıllık kesintisiz eğitimin uygulamasına geçilmesi ile birlikte ülke genelinde olduğu gibi batman ölçeğinde ortaya çıkan sorunlara sosyolojik bir bakış açısı getirmeye çalıştığımız çalışmamızda üzerinde durduğumuz ana nokta : Sekiz yıllık kesintisiz eğitimin ekonomik ve toplumsal yaşamın beklentilerine yeterli yanıt veremediğidir. Buna neden olarak yaptığımız değerlendirmelerden çıkan sonuçları şu şekilde ifade edebiliriz : Eğitim sistemimiz içerisinde mevcut finansman sorunları, fiziksel yapı sorunları çözülememişken ve okulların bina, araç-gereç ve donanım sorunları devam ederken köklü bir alt yapı çalışması gerektiren yeni bir uygulamaya geçilmesi ve bu durumun öğretmen yetersizliği ile birleşmesi eğitim sistemi içindeki sorunları daha da yoğunlaştırmasıdır. Bu yeni uygulamanın Batman örneğinde getirdiği sonuçları değerlendirdiğimiz de ise eğitim sistemimizin genelinde yaşanan sorunların etkisinin bazı alanlarda yoğunlaşarak (kır/kent farklılaşması, coğrafi köken farkının etkileri, gelir dağılımındaki dengesizlikler...) yaşandığı belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlar, Batman genelinde eğitim veren 32 okul arasından seçilen 5 tanesinde öğrenimini sürdüren 288 öğrenciye uygulanan anketten ve yine bu okullarda yönetici pozisyonunda olan 50 kişi arasında yapılan görüşmelerden çıkan sonuçların betimsel analizine dayanılarak elde edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak ülke genelinde olduğu gibi Batman örneğinde de beklenileni verememiş, yeterli alt yapı çalışması yapılmadan hayata geçirilmiş bir uygulama olduğu değerlendirilmiştir.

II ABSTRACT In our education system, putting the continuous 8-year-period education into practice.creates problems that have occurred in Batman as in the whole country.We are looking for a sociological point of view for these problems in our study and the main point that we give importance is that the continuous 8-year- period education doesn't meet the expectations of economical and social life.As a reason for this, the conclusions that has resulted from the evaluations which we have done,can be expressed like this:As the existing finance and physical structure problems haven't been solved yet.and the building, material supplies and equipment problems of the schools still continues.carrying out a practice that requires a radical substructure study and the combination of this situation with the unsufficent number of teachers intensify the problems inside the education system.When we evaluate the results of this new practice in Batman.it was determined that the effect of the problems in our education system in general.was seen more intensively(the difference between the rural areas and the city.the effects of the geographical origin.the imbalance in the distribution of income)in some regions.We got these results from the surveys that we carried out among 288 students in 5 schools which were chosen from 32 schools in Batman and also from the descriptive analysis based upon the interviews that were done with 50 people who have managerial positions in these schools. Finally, this practice didn't meet the needs and it was evaluated as a practice that was carried out without making enough substructure researches in Batman scale, as in the whole country.
