Özet

ÖZET Kaz Dağlan Camponotini (Hymenoptera, Formicidae, Formicinae) türlerini saptamak amacı ile 2001-2003 yılları arasında yürütülen bu araştırmada, 22 lokalite ve 11 farklı habitattan Camponotus cinsinin 3 altcinsi (Colobopsis, Myrmentoma, Tanaemyrmex) ne ait 14 tür tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen 14 türden 2 'si {Camponotus candiotes, C. oertzenî) Türkiye karınca faunası için; l'i (C. aegaeus) ise Marmara Bölgesi karınca faunası için yeni kayıttır. Bir türün ise kesin tanımı yapılamamıştır. Böylece Türkiye'den bilinen Camponotus tür sayısı 29'dan 31 'e yükselmiştir. Tespit edilen türlerin habitatlara göre dağılımları karşılaştırıldığında; belirlenen 1 1 habitattan en çok tür içereni 1 1 tür ile çam ormanı, en az tür içereni ise 1 'er tür ile köy meydanı, yerleşim alanı ve köknar ormanıdır. Araştırılan 1 1 habitatm 8 'inden tespit edilen C. aethiops'un ekolojik toleransı en yüksek tür olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yalnızca l'er habitatta bulunan türler ise C. sp. ve C oertzenVdxx. Türlerin vertikal dağılımları değerlendirildiğinde, yükseklik arttıkça tür sayısında giderek bir azalma görülmüş, 900m üzerindeki yüksekliklerden sadece 4 tür tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan araştırmada Kaz Dağları'nın 5 Akdeniz, 4 Avrupa, 4 Balkan ve 1 Endemik fauna elemanı ile temsil edildiği belirlenmiştir.

SUMMARY In this study, which was carried out to determine the Camponotini species of Kaz Dagi mountains between the years 2001 and 2003, 14 species of Camponotus belonging to 3 subgenera {Colobopsis, Myrmentoma, Tanaemyrmex) were determined from 22 localities and 1 1 different habitats. Of these, 2 species {Camponotus candiotes, C. oertzeni) are new records for Turkish ant fauna; whereas 1 species (C. aegaeus) is new record for that of Marmara Region ant fauna. Definite description of one species could not be done. Consequently, the number of known species of the genus Camponotus from Turkey increased from 29 to 31. When the distributions of the determined species according to the habitats were compared, pine forest appeared to have the highest number with 1 1 species. However, village arena, settlement area and beech forest have the lowest number with 1 species. C aethiops, which was determined from 8 of the 1 1 habitats, was found to have the highest ecological tolerance. On the other hand, C. sp. and C. oertzeni were determined from only 1 habitat. When the vertical distributions of the species were evaluated, species numbers decreased gradually with increasing altitude and only 4 species were determined over 900m. In our present study, Kaz Dagi mountains was found to be represented with 5 Mediterranean, 4 European, 4 Balkan and 1 endemic faunal elements.
