oz KISITLI DOĞRUSAL OLMAYAN EN KUÇUK KARELER TAHMİNİ: BİR SÜT ÜRETİM ÇALIŞMASI ORMAN, Mehmet N. İstatistik Bölümü Yüksek Lisans Tezi Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Fetih YILDIRIM Eylül 1991, 80 sayfa Bu çalışmada doğrusal olmayan fonksiyonlarla açıklanabilen, sığırlarda laktasyon süt verimine ait regrasyon modellerindeki parametreler tahmin edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla Karaköy (BAFRA) Tarım İşletmesinde yetiştirilen 3 laktasyon gurubundan toplam 45 Jersey ırkı ineğin 305 günlük laktasyon süt verimleri kullanılmıştır. Parametrelerin tahmini iki aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Birinci aşamada, değişik araştırıcılar tarafindan geliştirilen beş farklı doğrusal olmayan model denenmiştir. Modellerin verilere uygulanmasından elde edilen sonuçlardan, modellerin avantaj ve dezavantajları incelenmiş ve bunlar arasında 5 nolu model in y = 6o - 6ı*t + log((l-exp(-02*t))/e2) +e - v -uygun olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. İkinci aşamada ise 5 farklı metod ( Conjugate Gradient (CG), Marquadrt (MRT), Nelder Mead (NM), Hooke - Jeeves (HJ) ve Quasi -Newton (QN) ) uygunluğu saptanan modelle ele alınarak karşılaştırılmıştır. Bunlardan türev gerektiren metodların (CG.MRT) diğer metodlara (HJ,QN,NM) göre daha kısa zamanda sonuca götürdüğü saptanmıştır. Özetle en uygun model parametrelerin hesaplanmasını en kısa sürede gerçekleştirebilen MRT metodu ile birlikte kullanılmıştır. Üç laktasyon grubunun herbiri için 305 günlük süt verimi ile ilgili parametreler tahmin edilerek laktasyon eğrileri çizilmiştir. Sonuçlar istatistik ve hayvan yetiştiriciliği açılarından tartışılmıştır.

ABSTRACT CONSTRAINED NONLINEAR LEAST SQUARES ESTIMATION: A MILK PRODUCTION STUDY ORMAN, Mehmet N. M. S. Thesis in Statistics Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Fetih YILDIRIM September 1991, 80 pages In this study, the parameters of the regression models for milk yields in one lactation which explained by nonlinear functions, were estimated. Using a total of 45 Jersey cows in three lactation groups from Karakoy (BAFRA) State Farm, the milk production of 305-days as one lactation period was studied. The parameters were estimated in two steps. In the first stage, the five nonlinear models, developed by different workers, were applied. According to these results, the advantages and disadvantages of these five models were discussed. Based on the results obtained, it was decided that the 5th model with the equation of; y = 6o- 6i*t + log((l-.exp(-e2*t))/02-) + e best fit to the purpose. Using the best model, five different methods -İİİ-(Conjugate Gradient (CO), Marquadrt (MRT), Nelder Mead (NM), Hooke - Jeeves (HJ) and Quasi -Newton (QN) ) were compared in the second step. It was found that the methods ( CO, MRT ) which needed derivatives, were more practical and needed less computing time than the others (rfj, NM, QN). The best fit model with the MRT method Which needed the shortest computing time was used for the estimation of the parameters. The parameters which related to milk yields of 305-days, were estimated and the lactation curves were obtained for the three lactation groups. The results were discussed from the point if views of animal breeding and statistics.
