Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı; ürün kullanıcısı olarak kişinin içinde bulunduğu, onu kullandığı Kamusal Çevre ile olan ilişkilerinin incelenmesi, bu yolla tez konusu olan“Kamusal Çevreler İçin Oturma Elemanı Tasarımında Sorunlar”ın belirlenmesidir. Çalışma, Giriş ve 3 Ana Bölümden oluşmaktadır. Girişte; konunun ele alınış nedeni olan“Sorun”un ortaya konması, çeşitli çevrelerdeki görünümü, çalışmanın hedefi ile izlenen yol ve yöntem açıklanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda; BÖLÜM 1: Bu bölüm; KULLANICI PROFİLİ'nin incelendiği bölümdür. Burada önce - ürün kullanıcısı olarak - kişinin doğumla birlikte gelen (Biyo - bilimsel) bazı özelliklen ele alınmış, böylece davranışlarının nedeni ile sonuçlan, tasarım için ve tasarımcı gözüyle ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Bireyin yapı ve yetisinin“görülür”hale getirilmesi, diğer bilim dallarının desteği ile ancak olasıdır. Bu bilim dallarının başlıcaları Anatomi, Fizyoloji, Psikoloji ve kişinin bir tasarım ürünü (örneğin, bir oturma elemanı) ile doğrudan ilişkilerini inceleyen bilim dalı olan Ergonomi'dir.IV Bu nedenle bu bilim dalları, konunun kapsam sınırlarını aşmamaya özen gösterilerek incelenmiş ve kişi davranışlarının nedenleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu bölümde gene bu kez kişinin sonradan edindiği özellikleri ile bunların etki ve gücüyle yönlenen davranış biçimleri ele alınmış, bu bağlamda kişilik özellikleri ve motivasyonun etki ve gücü incelenmiştir. Bölümün sonucunda ise; kişiye her açıdan uygun bir çevrenin - Kamusal Çevrenin - tasarımında öncelikle kişinin - bazı özelliklerinin bilinmesi gerekliliği açıklanmıştır. BÖLÜM 2: Bu bölüm; TOPLUMSAL VARLIK OLARAK BİREY'in incelendiği bölümdür. Bu bölümde birey bu kez“Toplusal bir Varlık”olarak ele alınmış, çevresi ile olan karşılıklı etkileşimi ve değer yargıları incelenerek kullanıcı - öge ilişkilerindeki otomatik davranışları ve toplumsal kuralların yeri ve önemi açıklanmış, bölümün sonucunda belirlenenlerin bir özeti ortaya konmuştur. BÖLÜM 3: Bu bölüm; ÇEVRE STRÜKTÜRÜ'nün incelendiği bölümdür. Bu bölümde önce tasarımcı olarak“Çevre”sözcüğünden ne anlaşılması gerektiği - kavram ve kapsamı - ele alınmış, Öznel ve Nesnel Çevre ile bunların boyutları araştırılmış, tasarım sorunlarına çağdaş yaklaşımlar kapsamında Çevre Dostu ve Geri Dönüşümlü Tasarımlar üzerinde durulmuştur. Gerçekte bir tasarım olgusunda, önceliği üründen ürüne değişen pek çok ölçüt kullanılır. Ancak günümüzde yeni bir ölçüt daha yer almaktadır. Ürün, ham maddesiyle, üretim tekniğiyle, kullanım sonrasında ömrünü yitirdiğindeyok olmasıyla ya da geri dönüşümüyle“dost”olmalıdır. İşte bu ölçütler, bu bölümün alt başlıklarını oluşturmuşlardır. Bölümün sonucunda ise bu ölçütlerin - artık - kesinlikle göz önünde bulundurulmaları gerektiği vurgulanmıştır. SONUÇ : Giriş, Birinci Bölüm, İkinci Bölüm ve Üçüncü Bölümlerdeki bulgu ve vargıların ışığı altında belirlenenler ile“görülür”hale getirilmeye çalışılan“Kamusal Çevreler İçin Oturma Elemanı Tasarımında Sorunlar”, bir matris ile tasarımcının kullanımına sunulmaktadır.

The aim of this study, is the research of the relationship between the person and the public environment in which he is included and uses; thus to determine the problems of design under this thesis titled“Seating Elements For The Public Environment”This study is made up of an introduction and 3 main chapters. At the introduction; the presentation of the subject problem, viewing it at various places, the aim of the study and the method is explained. At this context; CHAPTER 1; the chapter in which the user's profile is researched. At this first part, the product user with certain properties from birth are considered, therefore the behaviour is presented for the design and designers interest. The discovery of the person's character and abilities is possible with the support of the other scientific branches. The principals of these science branches are anatomy, physiology, psychology and Ergonomy which is the study directly related with the person and design product (for example, a seating element).VII For this reason this scientific branch has been researched while trying not to exceed the borders of the topic and tries to find the reason behind the behavior of the person. In this chapter, again the adopted characteristics and behaviour related with these influences are taken into hand, thus the influence and power of this personal criteria has been researched. At the end of this chapter, it is explained that some of the characteristics of the person has to be known in order to design a Public Environment that is suitable to the person in all aspects. CHAPTER 2; In this chapter the“individual”is researched as“part of the public.”In this chapter, the individual is handled as a“part of the Public”, his relationship with the surrounding and his values of judgment, automatic behaviour with the elements and the importance of Public Rules is defined, ending with a summary of what has been designated. CHAPTER 3; In this chapter the Environmental Structure is researched. In this chapter; first the meaning of the word“environment”- as a concept and scope - and a subjective and objective view is researched as a designer, followed by studying the problems of design with a contemporary approach to Ecology, Landscape and Environment Friendly Design. As it is known, Ecology is the science of studying the relationship of living creatures with each other and with all the other live and non - living objects and should be considered as a design criteria. In reality, many criteria are used in a design idea which varies from product to product. However, nowadays there is a new criterion to be considered. The product has to beVIII“friendly”with its raw materials, production technique, and completion of usage and recycling. These criteria are the sub - titles of this chapter. At the end of this chapter it is stressed that from now on these criteria should definitely be taken into consideration. CONCLUSİON : Together with the diagnosis and findings in the introduction, chapter one, two, three and the effort of making it“visible”are all presented to the designer with a matrix under the title“Problems in Designing Seating Elements for the Public Environment”.
