ÖZET Yüksek Lisans Tezi spiro-DÎAZA-TAÇ ETER-FOSFAZENLERİN SENTEZİ VE YAPILARI Şemsay DEMİRİZ Ankara Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Kimya Anabilim Dalı Danışman: Prof. Dr. Zeynel KILIÇ Bu çalışmada, hekzaklorosiklofosfazatrienin (N3P3Cİ6) makrohalkasında sırası ile 15-, 17- ve 18-üye ihtiva eden ve N2O2- ve NaOj-donor atomlarından meydana gelen diaza- taç eter (3-5) ile reaksiyonu incelendi. 1,2-Etandibromürün EIOH/H2O kanşımmda salisilaldehit ve KOH ile reaksiyonu l,4-bis(2'-formilfenfl)-l,4-dioksabütanı (1) verdi. l,7-Bis(2'-formilfenil)-l,4,7-trioksaheptan (2) literatür yöntemine göre DMF de dietilenglikol diklorürün salisilaldehit ve Na2C03 ile reaksiyonundan elde edildi. Diaza- taç eter (3-5), sırası ile bileşik (1) in 1,3-diaminopropan ve bileşik (2) nin 1,2- diaminoetan ve 1,3-diaminopropan ile reaksiyonundan ara ürün olarak oluşan Schiff bazlarının izole edilmeden kuru MeOH de NaBHVboraks ile indirgenmesinden sentezlendi. N3P3Cİ6 nm bileşik (3-5) ile kuru THF de argon atmosferindeki reaksiyonu, sırası ile sp/ro-kripta-fosfazen türevlerini (6-8) verdi. Kısmen plrolidin sübstitüe spiro- kripta fosfazenler (9 ve 10), bileşik (7 ve 9) in plrolidinin aşınsı ile nükleofilik sübstitÜsyon reaksiyonundan elde edildi. Sentezlenen bileşiklerin yapılası, element analizi, İR, MS, !H-, 13C-, 31P-NMR ve HETCOR spektrumundan yararlanılarak aydınlatıldı. Ayrıca spiro-kripta fosfazenlerin (6-8) spektral verileri ilgili diaza-taç eterlerin (3-5) spektroskopik verileri ile karşılaştırıldı. ABSTRACT Master Thesis THE SYNTHESIS OF ^«ro-DIAZA-CROWN ETHER-PHOSPHAZENE AND THEIR STRUCTURES Şemsay DEMİRİZ Ankara University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Chemistry Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Zeynel KILIÇ In mis study, the reaction of hexachlorocyclophosphazatriene, N3P3Cİ6, with N2O2 and N203-donor type diaza-crown ethers (3-5) containing 15-, 17- and 18-member in macroring, respectively, were investigated. The reaction of 1,2-ethanedibromide with salicylaldehyde and KOH in EtOH/H20 mixture gave l,4-bis(2'-forylphenyl)-l,4- dioxabutane (1). l,7-Bis(2'-formylphenyl)-l,4,7-trioxaheptane (2) was obtained from the reaction of diethyleneglycol dichloride with salicylaldehyde and Na2C03 in DMF, according to published procedure. Diaza-crown ethers (3-5) were synthesized from the reduction of the corresponding intermediate products, Schiff bases, with NaBIVborax in dry MeOH which were formed from the reaction of (1) and 1,3-diaminopropane and the reaction of (2) and 1,2-diaminoethane and 1,3-diaminopropane, respectively, according to the published procedure. The reactions of N3P3Cİ6 with compounds (3-5) in dry THF and argon atmosphere afforded spi'ro-crypta-phosphazene derivatives (6-8), respectively. Partly pyrrolidinyl-substitüted.spiro-crypta phosphazenes (9 and 10) were synthesized from the substitüon reactions of compounds (7and 8) with an excess ofpyrrolidine in dry THF. The structure of the compounds were characterized by using data obtained from elemental analyses, FTIR, 'H-, 13C-, 31P-NMR and HETCOR spectra. The salient features of spectral data of spjro-crypta-phosphazenes (6-8) were compared with the data of the related diaza-crown ethers (3-5). The crystal structures of compounds (7 and 8) were determined by X-ray diffraction techniques for further structural assignment 2005, 148 pages
