SUMMARY In this study, I tried to evaluate the family structure of the workers sociologi cally at the Textile Industry Anonymous Company in Sivas. The study consists of two sections. In the first section, the concepts of the fa mily and employee, which forms the theoritical fundamental are emphasized. In the second section, the questionnaires prepared properly for these essential concepts are applied to 100 workers chosen by the means of simple occasio nally-sampling tecknique and the data are evaluated. According to the data although the type of the nuclear family is seen very of ten, the workers families hold the characteristics of the traditional large fa mily simultaneously. As a result, it is seen that the structures of the families have been changing into the contemparary nuclear families. ',
