Since 1970?s the importance of the protected area increased in international level especially inthe meaning of the National park. Since this date, especially regarding national park withinprotected area, a global perspective and the conscious of being a natural heritage of nationalparks in global scale has started to improve except being these areas a national heritage.Through with this viewpoint it was understood that the national parks must be protected fromexternal impacts in maximal scale and assigned to next generations without confusion in itssource values. This mission requires that these kind of special areas to be managed throughunique and scientific methods. Until 1970?s while national parks has been administeringthrough national legislations, beginning from this year new international standarts have beenimproved about national park management and these standarts recommending to all countrieswhich own national park in the world through conference, various organizations andagreements. In this study it will be mentioned about available situation and achievedimplementations in leader countries about national park management and analysed theavailable situation in our counrty in the same matter. Besides, it will be examined the way ofimplementation of planning, organizing, execution and control methods which are mainelements of management science in these countries and in our country. Because of its scopecontaining more detail implementations, national park planning will be examinedpredominantly compared to other national park management elements
