Özet
Bu araştırmada Türkiye'deki lisansüstü eğitim sürecindeki Milli EğitimBakanlığı çalışanı öğretmenlerin, lisansüstü eğitimde kazanılan beceriler, lisansüstüeğitimin işlevi ve devam edilen program ve dersler konusundaki görüşleribelirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.Araştırma verileri Gazi Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü EğitimBilimleri, öğrenim gören ve halen Milli Eğitim Bakanlığında öğretmen olarak görevyapan 299 tezli yüksek lisans öğrencisinden toplanmış olup söz konusu öğrencilerinlisansüstü eğitime bakış açılarını belirleme amacını taşıyan betimsel tarama modellibir araştırmadır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, lisansüstü eğitimin öğrencilerekazandırdığı beceriler sırasıyla; akademik çalışmalar için dayanak oluşturması,bilimsel araştırma ile bilgiye erişme, değerlendirme ve yorumlama becerisigeliştirme, mesleki çevre ve öğrenciler ile iyi ilişkiler kurma, çevrenin, okulun vesınıfın eğitim-öğretim problemlerini bilimsel yollarla çözmede yardımcı olmaktır.Bulgulara göre; Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitülerindeki yüksek lisans eğitimininişlevlerinden bazıları olarak belirlenen hususlar; bilginin üretiminde ve yayılmasındaaktif rol alma, eğitim politikası ve eğitim kurumlarının geliştirilmesinde yardımcıolma, piyasaya kalifiye eleman temin etme ve öğretim üyesi yetiştirmedir.Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğretim programlarına öğrenci seçim sürecindeseçilen öğrencilerin bilimsel üretim yapabilecek düzeye ve yeteneğe sahip olduğu vemevcut sistemin iyi olduğu düşüncesi görülmüştür. Araştırmada elde edilen verileregöre, değerlendirme ölçütlerinin daha nesnel olması, seçim yapılırken öğrenciniteliğinin ve programın öğrenci ihtiyacının ve öğretim üyesi kadrosu ile kurumunfiziki yeterliliklerinin dikkate alınması gerektiği düşüncesi görülmektedir.

The target of this research, is to determine the opinions of state employedpost-graduate students studying at institute of Educational Sciences of The GaziUniversity. Research is based on analysing the data gathered by inquiry methods. Forthe setting of example 299 students were usedAccording to the results of the data analyzed, the basic talents obtained fromthe current educational program are, having academic background, the ability ofdoing scientific research, analyzing knowledge, having positive attitudes towardsstudent teacher communications and solving educational and institutional problemsoccured during teaching. The functions of the post-graduate education are; have arole in knowledge production and dissemination of this knowledge, helping toimprove educational policies and educational institutes, to provide skilled personelfor the public or market and training scientists for educational institutions. The resultreceived from analyzing the data shows that the students are more positive for hequality of their education programmes. For the student selection, the data shows thatstudents believe the selection criteria should be more objective and the physicalsituations of the institute should be taken into consideration. On the other hand thestudents having been selected are at good in educational ability and knowledgeproduction.According to the students they can use the knowledge gained from the lessonswhile they are teaching. They also believe that they are improving their teachingability. For the lesson term they believe that lesson term is enough but for the thesisterm they are not sure whether it is enough or not.
