Özet
İlköğretim dönemi, çocuğun ahlâkû kimliğinin şekillendiği önemli bir dönemdir.Bu dönemde okul bu şekillenmeyi büyük ölçüde etkilemektedir.Araştırma, Din Kültürü ve Ahlâk Bilgisi derslerindeki ahlâkû değer eğitimi veöğretimini din eğitimi açısından incelemektedir. Ele alınan problemler şunlardır:Öğrencilerin derste ahlâkla ilgili anlatılanlara ilgileri hangi düzeydedir? Derste ahlâklailgili konular nasıl işlenmektedir? Zevkli ve etkili işlenebilmesi konusunda öğrencilerindüşünceleri nelerdir? Öğrencilerin ahlâkû davranışlarında dersin olumlu etkisi varmıdır? Öğrencilerin güzel davranış sergileme ve sergileyememe nedenleri nelerdir?Derse ilgi duymaları ve dersin olumlu etkisinin olduğunu düşünmeleri öğrencilerinahlâkû yönelimlerini etkilemekte midir? Öğrencilerin, adalet doğruluk, hoşgörü,yardımlaşma ve sözünde durma değerleriyle ilgili tutum ve davranışları nelerdir?Bu problemleri inceleyen araştırma, ahlâk ile ilgili kavramları teorik olarak,ardından bu bilgileri ampirik olarak ele almaktadır. Bu noktada ilköğretim 6. 7. ve 8.sınıflarda öğrenim gören toplam 1025 öğrenciye uygulanan anket sonuçlarıdeğerlendirilmektedir. Verilerin kaydedilmesi ve değerlendirilmesinde SPSS programıkullanılmıştır. Hipotezlerde ki-kare (chi-square) test etme tekniği kullanılmıştır.Neticede; öğrencilerin, derse ilgi duydukları, konuları hal-i hazırdan farklıişlemek istedikleri, davranışlarında dinû inançlarının etkisinin olduğu, ahlâkû yöndearkadaşlarından ve televizyondan olumsuz yönde etkilendikleri, derse ilgi duyan vedersin olumlu etkisinden söz eden öğrencilerin ahlâkû değer kazanımlarının daha yüksekolduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.Kısacası, öğrencilerin ahlâkû tutum ve davranışlarında Din Kültürü ve AhlâkBilgisi dersinin olumlu etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Sonuç bölümünde ise araştırma sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir.

Primary School Education is a very significant period in which the moral identityof child takes shape. School has a great influence over this formation in that period.This research examines the training and the teaching of moral values in thesubjects named Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge in terms of religious training.Related to this issue, those problems which have been dealt with are as follows: Onwhich level are the students? interests in the topics taught and related to the moralityduring the lesson? Are the topics concerning the morality taught pleasurably andeffectively enough in the lesson? What do the students think of the subject-matters beingable to be taught delightfully and in an effective way? Do the lessons have a positiveinfluence on the moral behaviour of the students? What are the reasons for studentsexhibiting approvable behaviour or not being able to do so? Does that the students areinterested in the lesson and think of the lessons having positive effects influence theirmoral tendency? What are the students? attitudes and behaviour towards the valuesregarding being fair, honesty, tolerance, helping each other, keeping their promise?The research investigating those problems, first of all, deals with the concepts ofmorality theoretically and then empirically. In doing so, the results of the questionnairethat was applied to 1025 students being trained in the grades 6, 7, and 8 in the PrimarySchool have been assessed. The results have been analysed by SPSS program. Thehypotheses have been checked by the use of chi-square.It has been found out that the students are interested in the lesson, wish that thetopic is covered in more different way than it is done at present, their religious beliefsaffect their behaviour, they get influenced by their peers and some programmes ontelevision in a negative way, the students interested in the lesson and mentioning of itspositive influences have made gains of higher moral values.In brief, it has been concluded that the subjects of Religious Culture and MoralKnowledge have favourable effects on students? attitudes and behaviour regardingmorality. In the chapter Conclusion, the results of the research have been evaluated.
