Tez adı: Oluşturmacı Öğretim Yönteminin Ortaöğretim Coğrafya Eğitimine EtkisiYazar: Ziya KARASUÖZETBu çalışmada, Oluşturmacı öğretim yönteminin ortaöğretim coğrafya öğretimindeuygulanmasının öğrenci başarısına etkisi araştırılmıştır.Geleneksel öğretim yöntemi ile dünyada gittikçe yaygınlaşan bir öğretim yöntemi olanoluşturmacı öğretim yöntemini karşılaştırmak amaçlanmış, oluşturmacı öğretim yöntemininbaşarıda daha etkili olduğu savunulmuştur. Bunun için oluşturmacı öğretim yaklaşımınınuygulandığı bir deney grubu, bir de geleneksel öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı bir kontrolgrubu seçilmiştir. Her iki gruba da aynı konular, aynı zamanda işlenmiştir. Konularişlenmeden önce yapılan açık uçlu (klasik yazılı) soruları ile deney grubu ve kontrolgruplarının hazır bulunuşluk düzeyleri belirlenmiştir.Kontrol grubu öğrencilerine, geleneksel öğretim yöntemi kullanılarak öğretimyapılmıştır. Deney grubu öğrencilerine ise; oluşturmacı öğretim yönteminin gereği olanuygulamalarla öğretim yapılmıştır. Uygulama sonrasındaki başarı düzeylerini belirlemekamacıyla aynı sorulardan oluşan son-test gruplara uygulanmış, böylece başarı üzerindeyöntem farkının etkisi belirlenerek hipotezin gerçekliği belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

Thesıs Name: The Effect Of Constructivist Teaching Method On Highschool GeographyEducation.Author: Ziya KARASUSUMMARYIn this study, the effect of the implementation of constructive method in high schoolgeography lessons is investigated.The main purpose of the study is to compare the traditional and the constructiveteaching methods. Two student groups are picked in order to make the comparison; theexperiment and the control groups that for the experiment group the constructive teachingmethod and control group the traditional teaching method is implemented. The same subjectsare taught at the same time for both groups. The readiness levels of the experiment and thecontrol groups are tested with open-ended questions before the subjects are taught.Traditional teaching methods are used for the control group students. On the otherhand, the applications of constructive teaching methods are used for the experiment groupstudents. The last-test containing the same questions is asked to both groups to determine thesuccess levels and the acceptance of hypothesis is tried to be determined by use of differentmethods over successfulness.
