Özet
Kronik böbrek yetmezligi olan hastaların tedavisinde sık kullanılan diyaliz tedavisi, hastaları ölümden kurtarıp, yasama devam etmelerini saglamakla birlikte, yogun fiziksel, psikolojik ve sosyal sorunları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu arastırma diyaliz tedavisi alan bireylerin umut ? umutsuzluk ve sosyal destek düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıstır. Arastırmanın evrenini Kayseri'de diyaliz tedavisi gören 604 hemodiyaliz, 195 sürekli ayaktan periton diyalizi hastası olusturmaktadır. Tam sayı metodu ile evrenin tamamının arastırma kapsamına alınması planlanmıs, ancak bazı kurulusların çalısmanın yapılmasına izin vermemesi ve bazı hastalarında arastırmanın sınırlılıklarına uymaması nedeni ile çalısma 353 hemodiyaliz, 154 sürekli ayaktan periton diyalizi olmak üzere toplam 507 hasta ile 8 Ekim 2006 ? 31 Ocak 2007 tarihleri arasında yapılmıstır. Veri toplama aracı olarak arastırmacı tarafından hazırlanan hastaların sosyodemografik ve hastalıga iliskin özellikleri içeren anket formu, umut düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla ?Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçegi? ve bireylerin sosyal destek gereksinimlerini belirlemek amacıyla ?Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçegi? kullanılmıstır. Verilerin degerlendirmesinde yüzdelik hesaplama, Shapiro-Wilk normallik testi, Bagımsız iki örnek t testi, Tek yönlü varyans analizi, Kruskal-Wallis varyans analizi, Spearman Korelasyon analizi, Tukey HSD, Dunn's ve Dunnet testleri kullanılmıstır. Arastırmaya katılan bireylerin Umut ? Umutsuzluk puan ortalaması 20 puan üzerinden 8.2 ± 5.1, Algılanan Sosyal Destek puan ortalaması 84 puan üzerinden 53.9 ± 18.3 olarak bulunmustur. Dialysis treatment, which is widely used in the treatment of the patients receiving medical treatment, saves their lives and allows them to survive. However, this treatment causes heavy physical, psychological and social problems to arise as well. This research was carried out to determine the extend of the hope , hopelessness and social support of the patients receiving dialysis treatment. Although this study was aimed to be conducted on 604 hemodialysis patients and 195 outpatients receiving periton dialysis treatment, it was only performed , between 8 September 2006 and 31 January 2007, on 507 patients consisting of 353 hemodialysis and 154 periton dialysis patients on the grounds that some institutions did not allow this study to be conducted and some of the patients did not keep to the observations of the study. In the survey made by the researcher himself as a means of collecting data and including the patients? socio- demographic properties and other properties related to the illness, ?Beck Hopelessness Measurement? and ?Multi Dimensionally Perceived Social Support Measurement? were used to determine the extend of their hope and their needs for social support respectively. Percentage calculating method, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Independent Two Sample t test, One way Variance Analysis , Kruksal ? Wallis VarianceAnalysis, Spearman Correlation Analysis, Tukey HSD, Dunn?s and Dunnet methods were used to evaluate the data. In this study, it was found that the avarege point of the patients in this study was 8.2 ± 5.1 over 20 and the average point of the Perceived Social Support was 53.9 ± 18.3 over 84.
