ADLI ESERLER NDE M ZAH, H C V VE RONCem TAŞYüksek Lisans Tezi?Aziz Nesin'in `Yaşar Ne Yaşar Ne Yaşamaz', Carl Zuckmayer'in `Köpenick'liYüzbaşı' ve Friedrich Dürrenmatt'ın `Büyük Romulus' adlı eserlerinde Mizah, Hiciv veroni? başlıklı çalışmamda; Türk, Alman ve sviçre Edebiyatı'ndan, yakın anlatım tekniğinesahip üç yazarın örnek olarak seçtiğim eserlerini çıkış noktası olarak kullanarak, anlatımyöntemlerine yönelik incelemelerde bulundum. Mizah, hiciv ve ironi ögelerinin sıkkullanımına dayalı bu yöntemin hangi amaçlarla ve ne şekilde uygulandığına, okur üzerindenasıl etkiler bırakabildiğine; yöntemin amacına ulaşmasında yazarların başarısına, günümüzşartlarında hiciv, mizah, ironiye dayalı anlatımların hangi durumda olduğuna ve hangi sebeplebunlara başvurulduğuna yönelik yorumlarımı, örneklendirmelere dayanarak çalışmamdasundum. Bu amaçla, çalışmamın ilk kısmında ?mizah, hiciv ve ironi? edebi terimlerininkavram tanıtımına yer verdim. Hangi yazarların, hangi eserlerinde, hangi konuların üzerindeyoğunlaşacağımızı bir sonraki bölümde vurguladıktan ve bu doğrultuda çalışmanın geri kalanıiçin gerekli ön bilgileri aktardıktan sonra; eserlerin tek tek hiciv, mizah, ironi yönündenincelenmesine geçildi. Bu kısımda her eseri kendi içerisinde üç alt başlığa ayırarak mizah,hiciv ve ironi yönünden analiz edip, ilgili örneklemeler yapıldı. Kendi içerisinde tek tekincelenen eserler, bir sonraki kısımda benzerlikler ve farklılıklar bakımından kıyaslanmıştır.Kıyaslamaların ardından gelen 4. bölüm çalışmamın ana fikrini oluşturmaktadır. Bubölümden sonra; durumun genelleştirilip günümüzle bağdaştırıldığı, yorum vedeğerlendirmelerin yer aldığı ?Sonuç? kısmı gelir. Sonuç kısmında, çalışma konuma birebiruyan, güncel olaylar ve yaşanmış örneklere yer vererek; ele aldığım konunun geçerliliğine,yaşantımızdaki yerine dikkat çekmek istedim.Çalışmam boyunca verilen örneklerden varmak istediğimiz sonuç; çıkış noktam olarakseçtiğim üç yazarın da mizah, hiciv ve ironiye dayalı anlatım tarzlarıyla hedeflediklerinin neolduğunu göstermekti. Böylelikle bu yöntemin etkinliğinin farkına varılarak kullanım alanınıngenişletilmesini ve benzer eserler okurken sadece yüzeysel değil, farklı anlamların da farkınavarılmasını kolaylaştırmak istedim.Danışman : Yrd. ABSTRACTTHE SATIRE, HUMOUR AND IRONY IN THE NOVELS BY AZIZ NESIN?YAŞAR IS NEITHER ALIVE NOR DEAD?, CARL ZUCKMAYER?LIEUTENANT FROM KÖPENICK? AND A DRAMA IN FRIEDRICHDÜRRENMATT ?ROMULUS THE GREAT?Cem TAŞIn the novels by Aziz Nesin ` Yaşar Is Neither Alive Nor Dead `, Carl Zuckmayer `LieutenantFrom Köpenick ? and drama in Friedrich Dürrenmatt ` Romulus The Great ?, by using thenarration techniques of three authors tracing back to German, Turkish and Swiss literature, ihave made some studies and researches in my theses.I have presented the frequent use of humor, satire and irony in my studies and their effects onthe readers including the success of the authors and their reasons to apply such techniques.For this reason, in the beginning of my study i focused on the detailed explanation of satire,humour and the irony concepts and i maintained my study after the detailed in informationand explanation of these terms by presenting the biography of these three authors by takingtheir ideas and writings into account, which has a vital role in my study. After focusing on thestudies of the specific authors and his specific novel in the name of literature, i began to dostylistic analysis them related to the usage of satire, humor and the irony. The main theme ofmy study presents the explanation of the concepts information about the author and detailedsummary of his attitude in his novels. This includes why these authors choose suchtechniques, how they use them and the functions of these items. Then comes the conclusion ofmy studies relying on the use of satire, humor and irony. I have pointed how to use and whento use all these techniques by making generalizations. Which includes the main comment onthem. In the last part of my study i want you to pay attention the trustworthness of them andthe collequall use of them and to do that. I have given examples from our daily life. Theobjectives of these three selected authors although these three novels were written in differentcountries and weren?t written synchronically. They give brejthrough the living conditions, thedisorganizations of its countries. Supported by the use of humour, satire and irony.Thus, my main objective in the end of my study is to have the readers pay attention on themain emphasis of the writers issues. These techniques clearly shows that there are other waysof thinking and criticising things by attaching new meanings of the concepts. I have describedthe reasons why these writers use them to show there are always alternatives and to make anecho on the societies. Thus, i had an opportunity to focus on the importance and essential roleof humour, satire and irony. In the general frame, my these consists of these elements.Thesis adviser : Ass.
