Özet

Bu çalışma, ilköğretim ikinci kademe 6. ve 7. sınıflarda Türkçe derslerinde kelimekazanımında müziğin etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla İstanbul iliÖmerli beldesinden iki ilköğretim okulu seçilmiş, 6. ve 7. sınıflardan birer tanedeney ve kontrol grupları oluşturulmuştur. Örneklemde toplam 87 öğrenci yeralmaktadır.Araştırmada ?ön test-son test kontrol gruplu deneme modeli? kullanılmıştır. Deneygrubuna kelime ve kelime grupları müzik eşliğinde öğretilirken, kontrol grubunaklasik yöntemle öğretilmiştir. Çalışmanın başında bütün öğrencilere bilgi anketi vekelime bilgisini ölçen test uygulanmıştır. Uygulamadan sonra kelime bilgisini ölçentest tekrar son test olarak yapılmıştır.Bilgi testi sonuçları nicel değerlendirme teknikleriyle yorumlanmıştır. Test sonuçlarıSPSS programına yüklenmiş ve elde edilen sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır. İstatistikdeğerlendirmede çapraz tablo analizi yapılmış, frekans ve yüzde değerleri verilmiştir.Ayrıca Mann Whitney U testi ve Wilcoxon testi kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonuçlarına göre;1. Kelime kazanımında müziğin kullanılması, klasik yönteme göre başarıyıartırmaktadır.2. Türkçe derslerinde müziğin kullanılması öğrencilerin derse güdülenmesine vekatılımın artmasına katkı sağlamaktadır.3. Türkçe derslerinde müzik zekâsından yararlanmak dersi daha etkin durumagetirmekte ve dersteki verimi artırmaktadır.

This study aims to determine the effect of music in 6th and 7th classes- thesecond level of primary school. For this purpose, two schools from Ömerli,İstanbul are selected, then, two groups from each class (6th and 7th), a testgroup and a control group are formed.In the study, the pre-test, post-test group experiment method is applied. Whilethe students in the test group are taught the words and phrases with music, thecontrol group are taught by classical method. In the introduction of the course,all students are given a knowledge questionnaire and a test to evaluate theirvocabulary level. At the end of the course, a test to evaluate their vocabularylevel is applied as the last test.The vocabulary test is explained in terms of objectivity. The test results areuploaded to the program SPSS and the outcome acquired, is interpreted. In thestatistical evaluation the cross-chart analysis has been performed while thefrequency and percentages are all expressed.Also the tests of Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon are used.According to the outcome of the study :1. The usage of music in vocabulary development increases the success incomparasion with the Classical Method.2. The application of music in Turkish Language courses contributes to themotivation of the students and to their participation in the lesson.3. Benefiting from the Musical Intelligence helps the course to be more effectiveand also gives rise to better results at the end of the course.
