Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı lise öğrencilerinin akademik başarı, başarı korkusu ve verimli ders çalışma alışkanlıkları arasındaki ilişkileri incelemektir. Ayrıca bu öğrencilerin başarı korkusu ve verimli ders çalışma alışkanlıkları düzeylerinin cinsiyete,okul türüne ve algılanan ana baba tutumuna göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını incelemektir. Bu araştırmada genel tarama modelleri arasında yer alan ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma grubu, Kırıkkale il merkezindeki iki genel lise ve bir anadolu lisesi'nde öğrenim gören toplam 662 ( 317 kız ve 345 erkek ) öğrenciden oluşturulmuştur. Verileri toplamak için Başarı Korkusu Ölçeği (Kantarcıoğlu, 2005), Çalışma Alışkanlıkları Envanteri (Uluğ, 1981) ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri Pearson Momentler Korelasyon Katsayısı Tekniği ve tek faktörlü varyans analizi teknikleri kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları lise öğrencilerinin akademik başarı ile başarı korkusu puanları ve verimli ders çalışma alışkanlıkları ile başarı korkusu puanları arasında negatif anlamlı ilişkiler olduğunu göstermiştir. Bunun yanı sıra sonuçlar lise öğrencilerinin verimli ders çalışma alışkanlıkları ve akademik başarı puanları arasında ise pozitif ilişki olduğu ancak anlamlılık düzeyine ulaşamadığını göstermiştir. Lise öğrencilerinin başarı korkusu puanları cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir fark göstermemiştir. Bu öğrencilerin verimli ders çalışma alışkanlıkları puanları cinsiyete göre erkek öğrenciler lehine anlamlı bir fark göstermiştir. Öğrencilerinin öğrenim gördükleri okul türüne (Genel Lise ve Anadolu Lisesi ) göre başarı korkusu puanları anlamlı fark göstermiştir. Lise öğrencilerinin algıladıkları ana-baba tutumlarına (demokratik, otoriter ve koruyucu) göre başarı korkusu puanlarının anlamlı fark göstermediği görülmüştür. Lise öğrencilerinin verimli ders çalışma alışkanlıkları puanları okul türüne (Genel Lise ve Anadolu Lisesi ) göre anlamlı fark göstermiştir. Bu öğrencilerin verimli ders çalışma alışkanlığı puanlarının ana-baba tutumlarına göre anlamlı fark göstermediği bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonuçları ilgili literatür çerçevesinde tartışılmış ve öneriler sunulmuştur.

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between academic success, fear of success and efficient studying habits of the students studying at high schools. In addition to that another purpose of this study is to examine whether the students? levels of fear of success and efficient studying habits differ according to gender, school kind and perceived parental attitude. Correlational scanning model, which holds place in general scanning models, was used in this research. The research group consisted of 662 students. There are 317 female and 345 male students attending at two general high school and one Anatolian high school in Kırıkkale. Fear of Success Scale (Kantarcıoğlu,2005), Studying Habits Inventory (Uluğ,1981) and Personal Information Form were used to collect data. Datas were analyzed by using Pearson Moments Correlation Co-efficient Technique and oneway variance analysis technique. Results of this study indicated that there is a negative significant correlation between academic success scores and fear of success of the high school students. In addition, results indicated that there is a negative significant correlation between efficient studying habits scores? and fear of success scores of the these students. It was observed that there is a positive and nonsignificant correlation between efficient studying habit scores and academic success scores of the high school students. The high school students? fear of success scores according to gender did not indicate a significant difference. But the scores of efficient studying of these students indicated a significant difference. Fear of success scores of the students indicated significant difference according to the kind of the schools they study at (general and anatolian high school). According to parent?s perceived attitudes (democratic, authoriterian and protective) it was observed that fear of success scores did not indicated a significant difference. The scores of efficient studying habits of high school students, according to gender, showed significant difference in favor of male students. It was observed that the scores of efficient studying habits of high school students, according to kinds of school (general and anatolian high schools) showed significant difference in favor of the Anatolian high school students. It was found that the scores of efficient studying habits of these students did not show significant difference according to parent?s perceived attitudes. The results were discussed around the literature related to the topic of the research.
